Am using a Curve 8350 and am unable to place calls through contacts folder. When you click on a contact and press send (the phone number is in the contact with area code), it rings once and says that the call cannot take place and it is an incorrect number. When you hand-dial the same exact phone number and press send, it goes through.

The problem is I don't receive any strong signal like before, right now I don't received any signal at all and when I make a call a pop up message comes on it says 'to make a call you have to turn off the flight mode' but the flight mode is off. When I attempt to do so, either the call does not complete, (call was lost), or if it does go through, I get a very rapid busy signal. I have checked the carrier reception and it is strong. I have checked the WiFi...it is receiving a strong signal. I have spent hours trying to figure this out and have finally given up. I have taken the battery and sim card out twice, also, hoping to repair whatever it is that has gone wrong.

I hit the green send button, or the blackberry key and try to select answer. Nothing works. I don't get the little spinning egg timer like other complaints have mentioned. It just rings and goes to missed call.

I have taken the battery out, several times. I am connected to the network (Sprint), I can make calls, just can't receive them. I am also having problems receiving my emails and texts timely. I contacted my carrier (vodafone) who told me my sim card was out of date and I need a new one.When I returned home I had a new sim card waiting for me, when I put this in my phone and activated it all was fine for about twho hours, then I lost all the email settings. I did not think this would be a big deal and set about setting them up again.
I finally managed to set up my hotmail (I need to use the vodafone BIS website), but no matter what I do I can not set up the other two emails. I have contacted vodafone who say this is my problem and i must have wrong password or settings (despite the fact these worked fine).
My question is, can I restore the email settings from a backup?

It messed up my contacts birthdays on the calendar again (just like every update ive downloaded since i got my phone), but besides that I thought everything was fine. But then, After using it for a few days, I've occassionally been unable to hear anything during calls. It works most of the time, but occassionally, when someone calls me and i pick up; it says "Connected", I don't hear anything. Same with vice versa, when I call them, it says "Connected" and I dont hear anything.

Have tried various emulation modes with the BlackBerry browser, as well as trying to get -somewhere- using Opera, which is also installed on my phone with no avail. I have no cord to sync my phone to my computer and do it that way, as I moved and a few things were misplaced.I've gone through the Blackberry App World, although it shows that the newest version is 1.9.0.28, even though I know there was a recent release. My phone is entirely up to date, as far as OS and everything else goes.Is there a place I could download the .jar/.jad file directly?
