Everything else works fine, EXCEPT all my calls get sent directly to voicemail Went to a TelCel center yesterday and they reinstalled the software on my phone (erasing everything) and I was able to receive calls for a total of 18 hours. Now, back to voicemail!
View 3 RepliesI have had my curve 8330 for almost 2 years now and just the past two days, I have been having problems receiving calls. I am not getting them at all. I have taken the battery out, several times. I am connected to the network (Sprint), I can make calls, just can't receive them. I am also having problems receiving my emails and texts timely. I don't know what is going on with my phone. I have version 4.5.0.186. Do I need to wipe my phone and start over? I have done a back up on my phone onto the Blackberry Desktop Manager.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently went abroad and was unable to make calls or receive texts, although I was able to use BB messenger, Facebook and twitter. I contacted my carrier (vodafone) who told me my sim card was out of date and I need a new one.When I returned home I had a new sim card waiting for me, when I put this in my phone and activated it all was fine for about twho hours, then I lost all the email settings. I did not think this would be a big deal and set about setting them up again.
I finally managed to set up my hotmail (I need to use the vodafone BIS website), but no matter what I do I can not set up the other two emails. I have contacted vodafone who say this is my problem and i must have wrong password or settings (despite the fact these worked fine).
My question is, can I restore the email settings from a backup?
Though I am getting edge on my phone. Receiving my mails and whats app messages. I am not able to make calls and receive calls, or text messages. Is it cause of the hardware or the network?

Can Receive incoming calls but cannot make outgoing calls. Plus texting is working find both incoming and out going.

I have a pearl flip 8220, File free = 68,920,695 bytes . It 's 3 months old, and suddenly stopped recieving calls. Other thibgs are working just fine, I am able to make calls and all. But when an incoming call is coming, it rings once and then hangs up on the caller. On the display it shows 1 missed call... why is my bb hanging up on people and not letting me talk?

Last night it kept saying SOS in the top corner, even when I had signal. I tried rebooting it but it would say vodafone UK for about 30 seconds after a reboot and the go to SOS. My bbm is working fine, so im not quite sure what the problem is. today it worked for a bit and within the last hour it has reverted back to doing it agai, but it doesnt say SOS.

I purchased an iPhone 4 refurbished for 119 from an OOW replacement and was told i would have a 90 day warranty. 14 days on, and I am having an error which says 'Unable to recieve calls and texts please restore' or something similar, and then the service goes. I have been on My Support Profile, and it says my warranty has expired, im not the best at maths but im ppretty sure my warranty is due to expire in roughly 76 days. However every time i have restored it has been via back up, is setting up as new Phone likely to fix the issue? I am very upset about this and want to know if the phone keeps faulting and I take the reciept i recieved via email after the service with me will they give me yet another replacement? PS I have restored 3 times now.

this has happened since I had the phone, but due to annoying shift patterns we couldnt take the phone back to be exchanged. The phone has just been repaired for a broken screen (glass, not LCD) and the software updated, so I had high hopes that this would be fixed, but it still wont receive calls & texts unless on charge.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 4 month old Blackberry Bold 9700 bought through Bell Mobility stopped working 2-3 weeks ago; was unable to send/receive calls or text even with the signal strength indicator showing full strength and the 3G symbol showing. Returned the phone to Bell Mobility for repairs and the phone was returned after about 2 weeks, but still not working. We could not find any scratch at all on the glass that covers the LCD display, and phone does not work, so have to wonder if they looked at the right phone. I Called the Bell Mobility service center, and they had the tech at the store reload the software again, third time this was done, still not working. Also reloading software on my phone apparently takes much longer than normal, about one hour.
Tech support at Bell finally told me the phone was not fixable, and gave me a ticket number to get a replacement phone through the Bell Mobility premium plan warranty I had purchased. Called thinking I would finally get a phone that works, but the insurance company that deals with the Bell Mobility warranty said that because the phone is under the one year manufacturers warranty they would not cover it, and it would cost me $150 if they were to replace the phone.
The customer service lady would not tell me what revisit means, but it seems to mean I will not be getting a working Blackberry any time soon. RIM also does not seem to offer or honor a warranty? I find it hard to believe that RIM offers no customer support or warranty on their Blackberry products, but could not find any information on a warranty in the booklets that came with the phone. Either way, the service rep at RIM told me they do not offer warranty repair services for their products and I would have to deal with the company that sold me the phone, Bell Mobility. These Blackberry phones are not cheap, so I cant really afford to buy a few of them for back up.
