Question concerning: MOTOROLA BACKFLIPwith MOTOBLUR recently installed the latest Androidand MOTOBLUR software to Android 2.1 with enhanced MOTOBLUR. Now I am unable to answer or make calls. Phone rings, but only a black screen appears. Attempting to make a call - same thing. I go to contacts/select the contact/hit call and the black screen immediately appears. I've turned the phone off/on.
View 1 RepliesDuring an exam, I can get in trouble if my phone goes off, even if it just vibrates.I've noticed that even when I have my phone in silent mode, it still vibrates when I receive a text message. How do I turn this off? I do not use the phone for anything other than calling and texting; I have no apps or email accounts or google or anything else set up with the phone. I wouldn't even know how to use them, to be honest. I just want silent mode to mean everything is completely silent, no vibrating or anything.

I recently went abroad and was unable to make calls or receive texts, although I was able to use BB messenger, Facebook and twitter. I contacted my carrier (vodafone) who told me my sim card was out of date and I need a new one.When I returned home I had a new sim card waiting for me, when I put this in my phone and activated it all was fine for about twho hours, then I lost all the email settings. I did not think this would be a big deal and set about setting them up again.
I finally managed to set up my hotmail (I need to use the vodafone BIS website), but no matter what I do I can not set up the other two emails. I have contacted vodafone who say this is my problem and i must have wrong password or settings (despite the fact these worked fine).
My question is, can I restore the email settings from a backup?
I'm unable to receive or make calls. It says "Initialization Failed" and I have no coverage (SOS). I removed the battery to reset it but it's still not working.

I am experiencing problem of no sound coming from the phone and similarly person on other end do not hear my sound. This is happening frequently and it is quiet annoying. Once I reboot the phone, it works fine. I am unhappy as this problem occurs on daily basis and making and receiving phone calls is the most important function any one will want in their phone.

I tried docking my Atrix during an active call and it continued to stay active but after disconnecting I could not make another call while docked. There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts.When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.

I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. how to make the voicemail notification icon go away? After checking and deleting all my voicemail, the icon remains in the toolbar. Hitting the Clear button does not work. Rebooting does not work. Turning the phone off and removing the battery and all cards does not work.

I have a blackberry curve 9360, My friend calls my phone and I never get her call, her call goes straight to voice mail and my phone doesnt ring. But we can text each other. The person is on the other end and No "mute has not been hit" the only thing i can think of is a loose wire internally or a software problem?? that does not mean its right, hence I am asking?

Recently I have been getting a problem with my 9700 Blackberry. When I make or receive calls, I can not hear anything out of my handset. The person on the other line can hear fine (Usually with me going Hello Hello a million times!) The only time I can hear anything is when I have my bluetooth on or switching it to speakerphone.
I tried doing the soft reset (battery pull when the phone was still on) ...still nothing. Although it did work a couple of times. Its on and off, but recently the situation has gone from bad to worse.Anyone out there with the 9700 with the same issue? It's really annoying and I do use the phone a lot for important calls.
