Motorola Photon 4G :: Can't Make And Receive Calls
Aug 11, 2011
I am experiencing problem of no sound coming from the phone and similarly person on other end do not hear my sound. This is happening frequently and it is quiet annoying. Once I reboot the phone, it works fine. I am unhappy as this problem occurs on daily basis and making and receiving phone calls is the most important function any one will want in their phone.
I have a Sprint Motorola Photon 4G and I am using it in Brazil with a Claro SIM Card. The phone reboots itself sometimes when I try to make or receive a phone call (2 or 3 times a day). I know this is happening to other Photon owners and I already tried the factory reset twice. My build # is 4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_6. Does anyone know a fix for that?
Once I make a 3 way call and hit "end last call" I can't redial or make another 3 way call without hanging up and doing it again. This is a major flaw. It allows me to hang the other call up but I can't retry them if I get voicemail or phone is busy.
Question concerning: MOTOROLA BACKFLIPwith MOTOBLUR recently installed the latest Androidand MOTOBLUR software to Android 2.1 with enhanced MOTOBLUR. Now I am unable to answer or make calls. Phone rings, but only a black screen appears. Attempting to make a call - same thing. I go to contacts/select the contact/hit call and the black screen immediately appears. I've turned the phone off/on.
When I dock my Atrix in my Laptop Dock it recognizes the Atrix but I'm unable to make or receive phone calls. I tried docking my Atrix during an active call and it continued to stay active but after disconnecting I could not make another call while docked. I use Voice to make and receive calls and even disabled this to see if that was the problem. Is this a setting issue or a bug?
My iPhone 4S has been working on and off for as long as I've had it. There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts. When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. I am with Vodafone and I'm always in full reception when this happens. When I connect to wifi, the text messages (but not missed calls) come through.
I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. Please help:/ this is not an issue with location, and everytime I make calls it just says "calling mobile..."
That's basically it. I don't want to keep getting e-mail (at my gmail account) that I have no events on a given day. How do I stop the Photon calender app from doing this?
My phone will not make calls, but I can still text just fine. I want to make sure if it's a network issue or if something happened with the phone itself. I have never dropped it and I always have the projective screens/covers.
I have a blackberry curve 9360, My friend calls my phone and I never get her call, her call goes straight to voice mail and my phone doesnt ring. But we can text each other. I also tried calling her 3 times, she has an iphone and her phone doesnt ring or show history of my call. Im pretty sure my call didnt go through.
I can make calls but I cant receive all of the calls. What happends is the phone rings then you swipe the screen to receive then there is nothing but the call has been answered, sometimes(not all) I can put on the microphone to fix this but this does nt work all the time.
The person is on the other end and No "mute has not been hit" the only thing i can think of is a loose wire internally or a software problem?? that does not mean its right, hence I am asking?
Has anyone seen / experienced this? When I have my photon in the car dock and using the GPS, I am unable to receive incoming calls. My girlfriend has called me for the past three days and she says my phone rings and rings and goes to voicemail. I have Sprint Service. I am not using TeleNav or any other navagation, I am just using the GPS mode and Bluetooth is also running. I dont have any other issues with not receiving incoming calls unless its in the dock.
I have stopped being able to make and receive calls but my email and bbm still work. I only got the phone a month ago and its the bold 9700. i have rebooted and spoke to my carrier and its not helped. Can make and recieve calls when i use a different phone just not on mine.
I'm using Blackberry 9700,since yesterday I can't make any calls and receive any calls.looks like the calling button is not active and when I made a call from another phone it was ringing but wasn't showing anything on my phone. So I restarted my phone and thus it shows me a message " Uncaught exception:Index 21>= 21 " and then " Uncaught exception:
ApplicationRegistry.getOrWaitFor(0x7c802477365c3985)owner died Thread[Thread-16181248.5] and Uncaught execption: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0x7c802477365c3985)timeout.
I was on the phone with her, and she dropped it. It's a 3G Curve on Verizon I believe. And now when I call her it gives me a fast busy tone. She can text me, but she can't call me. She's done a battery pull, turned on and off airplane mode, turned on and off bedtime mode, nothing seems to be working.
i recently bought a new BB 8320 curve. Im having troubles making calls and sending sms to certain contacts in my address book, even if i have full network coverage the calls fail the only way i can make calls is by manually dialling the contacts phone number. I also am not receiving any sms or calls from contacts.
whenever i tries to make a call i get call denied by network, if someone tries to call they get rejected. i can do every thing else except making and receiving calls.
My son gave me his unlocked verizon blackberry tour 9630 to use. I have a Flex Account plan with T-mobile butI don't have messaging , data/blackberry plan with them. SMS works fine but I cannot make or receive calls. When I call it says "No circuit/channel available." When someone calls, it goes straight to the voicemail.
My phone randomly came up with - Uncaught Exception : Application Registry (a bunch of numbers).timeout. Since then its somehow stopped me from making and receiving calls...its also locked down my call logs. And my cancel button (the red one) isn't working either. Iv tried battery pulls....and also tried in my Event Log to see if I can find what application is causing my phone to act up. Failing this I just started deleting my applications and seeing which one is causing me trouble.
Not sure that is related to Android 2.1 version or using Moxier, but since a few days I encounter problems when using my Xperia X10. I can receive calls, but not able to call a number myself. Not with direct input and not from phonebook
