Noticed that i could only send and receive plain messages and that my gmail screen was frozen with 2 conversations on it that I could not open.I am managing with messages, but also device has gone very slow.
How can I synchronize my gmails old mail, which are the mails that has come sometime back. Is there any way that I can get it to my BB. I used the IMAP protocol.
My gmails are all automatically deleted at random times throughout the day. This only occurs on the blackberry, not on my computer. Brought device to sprint tech support and they did a hard reset, but problem still occurs.
My phone has gotten to where when I am typing a text message it'll get so slow and almost freeze up and just stop and I got to wait and let it come back before I finish. I am running .131 on my Alltel 8330. Also, the 507 error I believe it is, happens to me a lot & I have had to completely reinstall the whole OS so many times. My battery doesn't really last very long at all. It doesn't compare to many that I hear about & my signal just isn't that great. Sometimes it runs good & won't really be that slow or lag but these past couple days it has been lagging bad & even with scrolling. Memory is NOT an issue I can reboot up with 45 & it'll go down to around 39 throughout the day.
I've tried .127 OS that my phone came with, used .131, used a hybrid before and tried .169 but the notification problem is too annoying.
I recently bought the 9300 3G phone thinking that I would have at least decent speeds using the net, but sometimes pages don't load at all, I can't be waiting almost 5 minutes for just the homepage of facebook to load for example, I haven't got alot of memory used or anything like that as I only bought it 2 days ago.
Was there anything that I was upposed to do before using the net, like tweaking some settings or something?? I'm using software 6 by the way. Obviously for me BlackBerry has been a bit of a disappointment
So i got a new blackberry curve 9360 for Christmas but recently it has gotten very slow and most of the time when i try to unlock it nothing will happen for a good few minutes and then the phone will unlock like it has frozen. I havent dropped it or anything yet and the only apps i have are the ones that came with it like google and facebook and then the bbm.
I know sometimes I hit the end button instead of closing windows and that leaves them open. I know there's a way to find out what's open and close everything to make the phone less sluggish but I have no idea how to do it.
Since upgrading to ver 5 OS, my 8900 has been running very slow. Can't figure out if it's a memory issue (there's 24MB of main memory remaining...the storage card has 822MB remaining). It's starting to affect calls received - The ringer is very slow in starting....and my call goes into voicemail before I can answer it!
if I go onto the internet to download music my BB runs very slow and the download fails...is it my BB or my network...and is the hotspot browser also on my BIS or does this use data?
So my phone has been like this for a few weeks now. I click on something, and it takes it a while to actually go to the screen I want it to. or I try and scroll and it takes it a while before it moves to the thing I want it to. Sometimes when I call someone and I get their voicemail and I don't want to leave a message, I try to hit the end button and it doesn't end it right away. It is driving me crazy! ?
I got a new Blackberry 8520 2 months ago, ever since I have got it, it has been going so slow. I have no idea what has happened, as I had the exact same model before, just a different device..I have tried clearing the event log, and using the memory cleaner..I have no apps, other than facebook, and BBM..
My phone is so slow when I am texting. I have to wait for the letters to appear on the screen. Scrolling is also very slow. What could be causing this?
I m using Vodafone connection for my blackberry. My browsing speed is very slow, so sites are unable to open because of connection timeout & unable to download the songs from the sites(download failed)...
I connected to my pc using usb cable to view some pics and ever since then the phone processes very slowly and no internet connection. I tried shutting it down for a while to see if that would help but no luck.
I have a BB 8900. I use it for emails, some browsing, Instant messenging.Lately it's been running really really slowly. Even when I'm conneced to home wifi emails and messages can take 5 mins to transmit from my device. Instant BB messages take 5 mins to float away.Connecting to some internet sites is now impossible - I think I might get timed out. But I can still get Google.I installed a new Facebook app last week - do you think this might be the cause?? Or is it my home internet service?? I live in the country and the bandwith might be the problem?
My blackberry is running slow especially in the messages. When i receive a message i click R to reply and type my message and send it before it even loads the message and i just got this phone 2 weeks ago. Does anyone know how i could fix this and speed up my phone?
Can anyone tell me a good theme for the blackberry curve 8330 that does not slow down or have any glitches on it? I have Verizon as my provider. I am really like the Apple themes/iberry but i don't know how well they work with the 8330 curve on verizon...

I have just gotten my first BB and am having issues with my email accounts syncing between my handset and server. I have two accounts one of which is a gmail set up through email wizard. When I check email online, often read messages stay marked unread for hours and days. The next day I can come back and the emails still haven't synced. Is anyone else having a problem with a very slow sync between the device and server?
In the meantime, I've downloaded the gmail app to use but I would prefer using bb's set-up.
Got new phone yesterday. Internet was working but now is not. its connected as is the wifi but their is no green tick beside the wifi.. My e mails are still coming through but not my picture messages
My download speed on my 8520 curve has dropped dramatically over the past few weeks and has gotten to the point where I'm getting in the region of 1 to 2 kb/s and therefore all downloads are failing.
