my new BB Curve 9360 is not showing my ToDos in the calender. The boxes for "Showing Todo" are ticked. It doesn´t matter whether I creae the Todo with the ToDo app or directly within the calender. None of them are shown.
View 1 RepliesI had to transfer my info to a new phone, now none of the calendar entries are showing on the home screen. i've got 2 new calendars that i've never seen before, device default and unknown. those are in addition to my email calendar. DD = green, my email = blue, and unknown = yellow. the original entires are all green and DO NOT show up on the homescreen. any new ones i enter are yellow and DO show on home screen. any ideas why this is happening? i have a lot of future entires that i dont want to re-enter.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is a problem with the Calendar app, Hangouts, my Nexus 5, AT&T, or Google Calendar on the web. I'm using my Nexus 5 and the built-in Calendar app to sync my phone calendar to the online (web) Google calendar (www.google.com/calendar). For almost all of my events, I've got a Reminder set on the web version to send an SMS to my phone via my standard AT&T, Hangouts-verified phone number. Up until a few days ago, I've gotten these SMS reminders without issue. Suddenly, I'm not getting all of them (I get some, but not all). There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes they'll arrive, sometimes they won't. Looking at the events in the Calendar show the Reminders are still set up. Rebooting the phone doesn't seem to work?
Also, as I was checking the settings on the phone to see if any of those could be causing the problem, I noticed a setting in the Calendar app for "Pop-up notifications" (Calendar app | 3-dot menu | Settings | "General settings" | Notifications | "Pop-up notification"). I turned it on, but it doesn't seem to do anything (I get no pop-up notifications when one of my Calendar events fire).
I have things on my calendar and in my reminded thatI want to be repeated only 3 days of the week but the only option to put so it will repeat is everyday. For example: I have events that only occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday but the only option I have to have to choose from to have the phone remind me or show it on my calendar as time not available is Daily, then it goes to monthly, etc. So when I set up a reminder or put something I want to show on my calendar I have to choose Daily so now it shows on everyday that my time is occupied for that event and it reminds me to which drives me crazy. You literally have to go to each day it's not suppose to be on and delete it in both the reminder and calendar.phone show that I am busy when I am not or it pops and makes a sound up when I am in the middle of things that are really not going on at those times of day and there are so many that I can not sit on my phone take it off the days I don't need it because that could be a year or more I would have to go thru to change. Is there an upgrade coming out for that soon to have it give us that option ro choose what says we want?

Last night I synced my Contacts between my iPhone and Mobile with my Mac (which had a blank address book).
I was sure I had selected to Replace The Data on the Mac, but what happened was that all my contacts got erased on the iPhone and MobileMe.
I was able to put them back together fairly quickly, but I now gave two birthday calanders on my iPhone. Everybody's name is shown twice on their birthday.
I only want to the built in bithday calander that use the data in the Contacts App.
3GS doesn't show Invitees in menu when creating a new date item.

Until recently, if I made a calendar entry (in any of the calendars shared with my wife) my wife would receive an alert on her iPhone and the Calendar app would show an invitation in the Inbox. The same thing would happen in reverse. Just recently, neither of us get alerts or invitations, although the new or modified calendar entry is synched across both iPhones. Neither of us aware of having changed any settings since this behaviour started. How can the notifications and invitations be restored?

The bug(?) started after updating to ICS. First, thought it could be a sync issue with Facebook, but the same is the case with Google calender, and localy created events.

But when I click on the calander it shows me the correct today date "19-Mar-2012".

Syncing my iPhone to MS Exchange. I see in Outlook 2010 calendars, all the recurring events I have. In particular, I see some birthdays in the current week, but on my iPhone 4s, running IOS 5.1, I only see a couple. More explicitly, there are 2 birthdays on the day that I am writing this question, only one shows on the iPhone. Also, one for tomorrow does not show, nor does an anniversary 2 days after that. There is no obvious reason for some to show and others to not show. Additionally, birthdays do not show up in 'Day' view, only in 'List' and 'Month' view.
I have tried deleting my Exchange account and re-adding it. I have changed all birthdays from 'Private' to 'Normal' confidentiality. I have tried editing events which don't show on the iPhone, in an attempt to make them appear. I can see appointments I create on the iPhone, in Outlook within seconds. I delete a test appointment in Outlook and it will disappear on the iPhone. I found that 'recurring events which are all Day Events' do not show on the iPhone. However, I can search for the event and find it, even though it does not display!

I see with the ICS update, Motorola has added (back) events to contacts, like birthdays, anniversaries, etc. However, I can't seem to get these to display in my calendar.
Under Calendar... Menu... Calendars to Display, I managed to figure out how to add "Contact's birthdays and events", and it is checked, but they still don't actually display in my calendar.
BTW, I assume that a birthday of like 9/15/1990 will show up in the calendar on 9/15/2012. I am using the stock ICS contacts and calendar (no extra apps). Has anyone gotten this new ICS feature to work?
I've upgraded to the latest N900 firmware (pr1.2) and ever since I have had a problem with the calendar widget. All the events are contained in the calendar when I open it however they are not displayed on the desktop widget. I've got events loaded for the month of June but for some reason these are not showing. Instead I have events showing for July, September and even December. I've tried removing all the entries and the re-adding them but this hasn't solved the problem. I also created another calendar and placed the entries in the new one, again this didn't work. Does anybody have any idea how I can resolve this problem.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI sync my BB with Outlook via Google Calendar so the process goes Blackberry to Google Calendars to Outlook via a cable on my PC.
The problem I have is:
Create a calendar item in Outlook -> shows up fine in OWA and on the BB.
Create a calendar item on BB -> shows up in Outlook but not in OWA.
Anyone else come across this? Surely OWA reads the same info as the Outlook client? Why isnt it seeing the calendar item created on the BB?
I've had my BB Torch for nearly a year & have no issues with synching but for some reason the calendar synch on my desktop software is now showing 'not installed'. I've done all the normal stuff to get it to synch but regardless it keeps showing 'not installed' - how can I get it back?
