When I want to synch Outlook, Desktop shows Calendar as "not installed".I click on it and configure it and it shows up with a check mark.Then when I get out of that screen it goes back to "not installed"
View 5 RepliesI've had my BB Torch for nearly a year & have no issues with synching but for some reason the calendar synch on my desktop software is now showing 'not installed'. I've done all the normal stuff to get it to synch but regardless it keeps showing 'not installed' - how can I get it back?

View 8 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I updated my terminal: Blackberry TORCH 9800 to version 6, ver. 2647.I thought it would be a minor update but I realized it was a major update of the whole system.n IMPORTANT PROBLEM OCCURRED: Outlook 2007 CALENDAR synchronization DID NOT INSTALLED therefore I cannot synchronize the terminal to OUTLOOK with Blackberry Desktop Software anymore. When I look into (Organiseur in French), it shows that Calendar did not install.BUT Yes, it still can synchronize ADDRESSES, TASKS and NOTES but not Calendar.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Torch last week. I use it for work. Due to firewall issues I had to have my IT department download the Desktop Software for me so that I could sync everything. I am on the personal plan not the Enterprise, although I still can receive emails for work.
When I did the Configure Settings to set up the syncing it let me do the Calendar and then the Address book. Yet when I got ready to run the sync the Calendar says "not installed". I was able to sync the contacts with my Outlook, but for some reason can't get the Calendar to work. I really need to have my calendar sync'd.
I'm on AT&T and have had the Bold 9000 previously. I never had any problems with the Desktop Software until now.
For reasons unknown my desktop organizer section suddenly says 'calender (not installed)'.I have not knowingly reconfigured anything. but clearly I cannot sync the calender now.I have tried removing the software and reinstalling but the same problem persists.I recently removed the BBM and Facebook applications on my device by using the desktop facility as they were annoying as they sought to access my calender, I do not know if that is connected with this issue?

I got a new torch and I'm totally loving it but I wonder why I dont see my birthday appointments in the calendar? I've synced only the adress book from my old bold 9000 birthdays are still listed in the contacts but they do not appear in my calendar. If I add a new birthday to a contact it does appear. Can somebody help me?

On the "Select Organizer Data to Synchronize" it shows that the Calendar is "not installed". I tried going back to the older version of the software but the problem is still there.I am using Microsoft Outlook not an Enterprise Server.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo this is a two-fold issue. The first and most major is that my second SIM card is showing that it has data usage (by an assortment of apps, and mainly System). This is viewable via the Data Usage in settings. I wouldn't normally care too much as long as the SIM 1 data usage is accurate.
The second issue stems from this. I have it set as a metered connection and the correct values set for data allowance, etc. It is still showing data available, with about 250MB still left (out of 2GB). Every time I enter or leave a WIFI network (or it detects a wifi network for auto-connect), I am getting a notification saying that I have used more data than I have allotted. Then when I go to the data usage, it shows that I still have data. Now, the SIM 2 is also showing data, which when added to the SIM 1, would put it over my allotted.
So a couple things:
SIM 2 is showing data usage even without SIM card'You've reached your data limit' notification keeps popping up even though I have data leftData Usage metered connection not showing total usage for both SIM within metered usage even though it's generating it's message based on that.
It is pretty annoying getting that notification all the time, especially since it's a system notification and I like having those set to sound. Also, I can't have 'restrict data usage on overage' turned on due to this bug.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just opened the Market to see whether any apps of mine needed updating and "My apps" shows that I have only 7 apps installed--and that doesn't include Gmail, Google Voice, Google Search, etc. I realize that this may be unrelated to Motorola or the Droid X, but you never know. Just thought I'd ask to see if anyone else is noticing this. Perhaps Google is in the process of updating the Android Market?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is a problem with the Calendar app, Hangouts, my Nexus 5, AT&T, or Google Calendar on the web. I'm using my Nexus 5 and the built-in Calendar app to sync my phone calendar to the online (web) Google calendar (www.google.com/calendar). For almost all of my events, I've got a Reminder set on the web version to send an SMS to my phone via my standard AT&T, Hangouts-verified phone number. Up until a few days ago, I've gotten these SMS reminders without issue. Suddenly, I'm not getting all of them (I get some, but not all). There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes they'll arrive, sometimes they won't. Looking at the events in the Calendar show the Reminders are still set up. Rebooting the phone doesn't seem to work?
Also, as I was checking the settings on the phone to see if any of those could be causing the problem, I noticed a setting in the Calendar app for "Pop-up notifications" (Calendar app | 3-dot menu | Settings | "General settings" | Notifications | "Pop-up notification"). I turned it on, but it doesn't seem to do anything (I get no pop-up notifications when one of my Calendar events fire).
