BB Curve :: Possible To Put Apps On From PC

So I got a BB 9300 that I don't understand LOL. DH did a drag drop thing to get some pics on it for me. But I got an app from app world, had it emailed to my regular email, downloaded it, put it in a folder in my computer and dragged and dropped it to the phone. It's listed in the phone files and when I click there's a button to download. I added some $1.99 web access to my account. Which apparently is free until I use it, then it's $1.99 for a certain amount of use. I don't understand this stuff! So even after adding that I still can't click download in the app on the phone. It says: download failed, then I click details and it says: 907 Invalid COD File not found. So do I really need to get the whole shebang plan just to get an app, or can I get it on the phone from my PC? P.S I have T-Mobile EvenMorePlus unlimited talk & text and by whole shebang I mean the $80 unlimited talk, text & data!

bb 8520 won't download apps from the bb apps store. I have the latest software and have cleared the cache but when I download apps all I get is this app is unavailable?

I have a BB Curve 8520 for 2 weeks now and I still cannot download apps.At first, I had the 4.6 version and I couldn't find BB apps world on my BB so I uprgraded it (5v).Now I have BB apps world I have the possibility to download apps but it doesn't work! Every time I get the same message "Cannot download apps from Blackberry app world...".

I recently received a message telling me that an update was available for App World. I downloaded the update, installed it and rebooted. Now I am unable to download apps. When I hit the download button it takes me to the sign in for BlackBerry ID, then to terms and conditions and then to my ID settings! The only way I can get off this screen is to press Discard, which takes me back to where I started! I just keep going round in circles.

Everytime i want to use an app it will work for a while then it will freeze then it will say 'uncaught application..... ' for example when i use whats app it would only let me talk to one person if i click on someone else it will freeze and the same thing will happen even blackberry app world.

Blackberry curve 9300 connected to wifi but applications such as facebook, whatsapp not working. It was working fine before. Once I go out of wifi coverage and comes back again, it does not work. Browser is still working fine on wifi. If I reboot my BB, everything works fine.

I have created my BB ID and password and when i go to log into app world it says Authenticating" then its says "An error has occurred. Please try again later."I have tried taking my battery out for over a minute and that has rebooted it but it still doesnt work.

Whenever i choose an app I try to download it, but when asked to sign in to Blackberry app world i type in my email and password and it then comes back with the message "cannot validate email address or password" I have came online via my pc and checked into Blackberry world with my email and password. So Blackberry world do have my email and password

I have a Blackberry Curve 8520. Somehow, when I press the button that is supposed to bring me to my apps, it won't show anything. It just stays on my home screen. Does anyone know a way on how to get them to show, because I have important files in my notes app.

I installed Blackberry Protect; unfortunately it does not run as it states that an 'Enterprise Server' is running.Similarly when I installed 'WHatsApp' an 'internal firewall' was preventing it to run.I was told that I needed to perform a low level formatting more than a 'wipe' of the unit, How do I perform a low level Format?

I had T-mobile connection and data plan on 8900 Curve blackberry phone. Eventually I moved to india and my phone was unlocked by T-mobile. Now My carrier is Airtel and I have no data plan with my carrier.When I try to connect my phone with WiFi, Internet is working fine in browsers (Both in Internet explorer and Opera) but applications like gmail, facebook are not working. For Example:
Gmail - Tunnel Failed error
Facebook - Data service not available error

Ever since I updated my OS to 6 , everytime I turn my phone off it loses all the app customization like where they are placed on my home screen. The media folder is completely wiped every time aswell. I do not know whats wrong, but the camera, pictures, music, videos and instant messaging are there to click but have no picture and they are empty and all the apps that should be in them show on my home screen. When I put different themes on they all just show up as question marks. Does this happen to anyone else. I have to restore my phone every time it dies and it is a brand new phone blackberry sent to me.

I'm getting slightly frustrated at my Curve 8520's complete inability to download any apps ?I go into the App world, select the app I want and click "download". It then asks me to enter in my blackberry ID which I do, it then takes me to my information [such as email, username] and gives me options to change my password and recovery question but nothing else. I can't go forward and if I go back I just start again with the download screen and go around in circles!I've uninstalled and reinstalled app world, I've updated the OS, I've tried sending the link from my laptop to the BB but nothing works and I'm getting a tad cranky.

i have been using bb app world and other apps since the time i started bb few years back. but few months back the bb app world and some other apps stooped working. the bb app world doesnt appear anywhere in the bb despite complete successful installation. the other apps dont open. instead i get a pop up message which says 'error starting' or 'error loading' or 'verify error'. even the upgraded version of any app if installed anytime from the time problem started doesn't open.can anyone tell me what exactly is the problem with my bb as it was working well few months back. how do i rectify this so that i can once again start using the bb app world as well as start using some of the apps that are not opening now.

I recently brought the new 9320. I have the basic San Disk memory card which come with the Blackberry. Also as soon as I brought the phone I downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Support software. The desktop software and the storage options on the phone both say that I have a 14.4MB remaining on the phone storage and 1.4GB remaining on my memory card. When I attempt to download apps on the phone through my Wi-Fi it says that there is not enough space remaining. I assume that the phone only attempts to download the app to the device memory. Is there a way that I can get the phone to automatically download the app directly to my memory card? Or is there some other problem which is stopping me downloading apps?

I have new phone. Curve 9320 (Curve 9310 in US), with the latest OS 7.1. I am new user of Blackberry, but I am fond of the system and I want to continue to use it.Unfortunately, I have a problem. I donīt have BIS/BBS but my phone has a Wi-Fi! Every time I connect on my Wi-Fi there is only browser in the phone which is working. None of my applications (App world, Googlemaps, LogicMail, Twitter, Facebook, RSS etc.) work. The only solution seems to be to restart my phone completely. Then everything is fine except Gmaps and RSS (- there is still an announcement: please ensure that your device is connected to the wireless network and try again). I donīt understand it. If I turn on Wi-Fi, it everything should work normally.I am also an iOS user and on Apple devices wi-fi works just great with every application, no need to restart the device.

When i connect my BB with a USB to my windows 7 pc to the apps world of BB online , the website tells me to " Please connect my device". However, device manager recognises my BB and also it charges the phone. I have installed apps world a couple of times. Installed the BB drivers from the website (ver 4.5). Also, i am using google chrome as my browser. Please can someone help so that i can install apps thru the website using a USB

i am trying to download and install a few apps but it says i have no space available and i should delete stuff. i have tried to delete everything i can see, but despite the fact i have only BB Messenger, Whatsapp and Blackberry App Manager installed, i still have no space!!
im sure these apps cannot be taking all the device memory (64MB) - so what to do? all vids, pics and audio i have are stored on the memory card.
