I have a small problem that a lot of users seem to have with BB 8900. A Blackberry Maps application has been installed on my device (version 4.6.1), but the icon to start it up is missing. I have seen some posts regarding that problem but none of the proposed solutions seem to work, including reinstallation of the application (upon trying I get a message that Blackberry Maps is not compatible with the software I have installed). I have recently updated OS to 22.214.171.124 (platform 126.96.36.199) so my soft is definitely up-to date. I am clueless as to what to do now.
I recently upgraded my OS on my Curve 8520 to Version 5.00 Bundle 1168 and I find that the email app is no longer on the phone. I know my email account is OK as I can see the unread messages on the message icon at the top of the phone showing them arriving but I can not see the app to see them.
Updating to the latest Device Software and Its hanging on the Restore Progress. Content Store 163 of 541 items but the bar is one square away from the end, and its a not moving. No movement on Phone either, just frozen with PC to Phone connect image.

I'm trying to update my Nokia N97 to the new maps through the software update application but the new Ovi Map isn't show up at all. I just updated my phone to the new software versian v21.2.045 (RM-507).Can someone please tell me how I can get the new map?
my Siri was working fine untIl I found that it has gone missing after updating to iOS 5.1 in April. All I see is the voice control which is totally unhelpful. I thought upgrading to update 5.1.1 will solve this issue but the problem still remains. Does anyone else have similar problem? I used to see Siri options under Settings > Siri befor the update but that's totally missing now. some options other than restore as I never took any backup before updating to iOS 5.1.
When the IOS 5.1.1 update became available a few days ago, I decided to update. Before doing that, I attached my iPhone 4 to iTunes and synced the phone. When that was complete, I initiated the update.
Once the update was complete, I noticed that all of the photos and videos I had created since mid-March were missing. Are they stored on my computer from when I sync, and if so, how do I access them? Otherwise, why did this happen and how do I prevent it in the future?
I've got a 5800xm on T-mobile in the UK which had software version 21.0.025. Checked for updates on the phone and had the 'no updates available' message. Went onto Ovi Suite, did a backup of my phone, then updated the software to version 31.0.101 which should be compatable with Ovi/Nokia maps 3.3 (with FREE navigation). After several attempt to download and install the new map software (through Ovi store on the handset, Ovi.com, and Ovi Suite) I finally managed to get the 'installation complete' message
I don't get the dashboard when I first start Ovi maps each time, which is supposed to show that it is indeed the new version that you're running. Now when I start to plan a route, I get the first turn voice command, then my phone shows 'updating' then proceeds to ask me for money! If I go into options - about (on maps), I'm supposedly running v31.01 09wk26. If I go into settings - application manager - installed application, Ovi maps shows version 3.03(246) being installed. Tonight I connected the 5800 to my PC to download some maps using maploader, and Ovi Suite came up with an option to install Maps v3
I would like to put in some new maps (for another country) on my N95 8GB as I have done several times before, but it looks like I can't do it the way as I have done before. As I remember I previously did it by choosing maps in Nokia PC Suite which sent me to a map download program. Now it just sends me to a ovi-map website that says "Navigation on your Nokia is now free".But how do I load a new map into my existing map software on my N95 8GB?Is it possible in some way to get free navigation working on N95 8GB?
i have a little problem with my maps updater and N95. i recently (two days ago) updated my N95 firmware and its now 35.0.0002, and after that, i tried to install ovi maps commercial version (ovi maps 3.00 without free navigation) using maps updater but it shows cannot read enough information from N95? and closes? what can i do now? how can i find the commercial version again since N95 is not supported by free navigation version?
I updated my Blackberry Tour 9630 today via the BB Desktop Manager for Macs. It backed up and restored most of my data correctly except for my MemoPad and 3rd party applications. When I go to the app loader it only lists the 3rd party apps and not the MemoPad or any other apps on my phone. Anyone have a suggestion?
After updating to OS6, the backlight keep going off after a few seconds even i set it to timeout at less than 25%. Another problem is when i use it for gps navigation, i type a new addresss i need to gets to and i display it on map, when i drive, the spot showing me is moving, however the map is not moving along with it, after a while it just goes out of the map. Anyway to get this working like before it was updated to OS6?
After updating the maps through software updater, the maps app could no longer open though drive opens. The funny thing is that when I choose open location in Nokia maps in a twitter client, the map opens; but to open it through the menu app becomes a problem. I'm using 603 belle sw version 111.020. I could not find any fp1 or fp2 update.
I just got a new Sony Xperia z3 today and I've updated the system and.everything seemed to.be fine at first and then I notices my notification bar at the top had changed.from black.to grey and everything is different and seems to.be a lot of missing features.
I've a Nokia E55 with Maps 3.04. Up until a few days ago, when I used Maps I had a nice small bar in the lower right corner showing satellite reception, and also a small bar showing data transfer. Now I just have the data transfer bar and the satellite status bar is gone.
After recent update of ovi maps on my mobile a strange problem occurs: when I choose one of my favourite destinations the following error appears: 'no route found'. I manually checked the map and found that huge parts of the route are really missing - mostly big parts of south of Bulgaria, including entire map of Plovdiv city, which is the second biggest city in the country.Missing routes on ovi maps
