View 1 Repliesmy iPhone keeps sayin 10% and doesn't show a lightening bolt even though it's plugged in, how do I know it's charging? or how do I fix it?

I have just purchased the Mini ST15i and each time my finger contacts the screen a fine blue lightening like line follows where my finger has touched. The line is present on all screens I select. Not sure if this is a phone fault or something I have accidentally set up while experimenting with the phone. It was not present when I first got the phone which makes me think it is the latter.

I left my charger at home when I was on a trip and my blackberry's battery was running low. I didn't turn it off and when my curve died, i assumed it was because the battery was too low and it died. When I got home I tried to charge it to the wall charger and.. nothing. Not even a blink on the LED. I left it for the whole night thinking it might take some time. The next morning i tried to switch it on, and nothing happened. I tried a battery pull and it also failed. I took out the memory card, sim card and battery, assembled them back after 30 mins and still nothing. Without the battery, when i put it the wall charger to the USB, there was a 10 second red light on the LED and the screen showed the no-battery symbol, so my charger is well and fine. I checked my phone and there was no water damages. Tried connecting it to my PC and nothing happened. Been using this curve for the past 5 months and this has never happened before.
View 9 Replies View Relatedi have the curve 8520...it was working earlier today I changed my sim card so I put my phone shut off. After this when I switched on my hand set.. then I found a battery symbol with a red x and the phone is not booting OS. I am not sure what that means but my phone won't turn on and won't charge. I tried taking the battery out and now it turns on but the symbol is still there and the loading bar is on the screen and it won't change. I also took outmy sim card & memory card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't turn my phone on.For the last week, every time I plugged the charger in, the screen would go white, and then a battery with a red cross through would show up.If I removed and replaced the battery several times then eventually it would reboot, I took to a phone shop yesterday and they unscrewed the phone and re-screwed it together again, and the battery sign didn't appear again and appeared to be working fine again. However, last night I attempted to charge the phone again, and the battery sign appeared again and now will not go off. The phone is completely useless. I've tried a new battery, with no luck. What should I do?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy month-old Blackberry Curve 9300 won't turn on. I plugged it in - to the wall - to charge earlier today and at that point it seemed fine - when I went back to check it, though, the screen was blank with a red light. I've tried turning it on, but the loading screen comes up, loads a tiny part of the way, and then a blank white screen appears, then I get an icon of a battery with a red cross through it.

View 7 Replies View RelatedIt has previously glitched when turning on, but it always does turn on. It's fully charged, I had it charging all night and in the morning it worked fine. I was turning in on and off a couple time during the day and it started fine. Went to turn in on later and nothing happened. Nothing lit up or anything. I took out the battery and put it back in and nothing. I tried charging it for hours and still nothing. I've only had it about 5 months and the battery seems fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI gave my sister my old curve its about 1 1/2 yrs old. the day i gave it to her the phone worked just fine but after she flew back home the battery would only last her a few minutes. i told her to try a new battery but it still has not changed anything. i even got her to upgrade to 5.0 just to see if it would make any difference but it doesnt.
she barely uses any apps, and mostly uses the phone for emailing.on standby it will every 10minutes or so the battery life will go down by 10%, and after a few texts or a minute or two on a call the phone will just die. she can pretty much just use it when its connected to a power source.Seems like a phone issue but there is no warranty on it
My battrery has been running low quickly . For instance, I charged it yesterday and when it was done charging I made a phone call. I was on the phone for about 11/2 minutes. After I got off I looked at my battery and it was down 1/2 a brick. I've tried removing the battery for awhile, but it doesn't seem to help. I talk on it a lot through the day so I can understand it needing charged at night, but 1 minute off the charger and it's already losing power? I don't use the internet that much, but I do play games. The phone is about a month old. Any advice?
View 4 Replies View RelatedOkay, so I'm on the move a lot, travelling to and from University each day which can take anywhere between 1-2 hours getting there and getting back. I'm always on my phone during travelling as there isb't much else to do and I like to keep in touch with friends. I use Facebook and the internet a lot on their and I understand this is why my battery runs down so quick. Using it for I'd say 3 or so hours and the battery is done, I usually take my usb cable to uni so I can charge it ready for the journey home. Is there anyway I can get the same usage out of it and not drain the battery so much? I am thinking of getting a new battery first off as I'd say the current one would not be able to achieve good life againt, but is there long lasting batteries I can get?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow I can turn off the battery full notification. It is constantly vibrating and making noise especially while I am using it while on the charger. I have looked around and didn't find much on how to do it except for rooting but have been apprehensive about that because of the new updates apparently have made it difficult.
So, how it can be done (including how to root after the updates if need be) ....
my phone is not turning on after the battery has fully drained

I replaced the battery in my 16gb 3g and in the process of doing so broke the ring in the wifi cable where it is screwed to the housing after assembling everything, checking, double checking. iPhone will not turn on at all. At first I got a little red line showing a dead battery when I plugged it in, but I couldn't get it to turn on (pushed power and home button together, tried dfu etc etc). Opened it again to double check other cable connections, now it doesn't even show this red battery line anymore.
Does this cable just affect the antenna or could it have disrupted the whole iPhone from turning on?
