I am trying to block a number, and apparently I need to download an app to do it, however when I go onto app world it saying can not verify my blackberry ID and I have tried on my laptop and can not seem to find the right thing

View 8 Replies View Relatedi have just bought a bb 8520, and i cant find where to block the phone sending my id [telephone number] to who i am calling.i have called my carrier because this is a service that they have to add to the plan, but they told me that the only way is to dial #31# before every phone number thats an option, but unreal, beacuse for the 99% of times you choose the phone number from the contact list [or you should modify every phone to have the #31# before the number]i had a nokia before, and this option is easy configured through the options tab does anybody knows where to configure this option?

Even when I transferred numbers from my Envy to my Blackberry a lot of the contacts went under "Work" rather than "Mobil".How can I change it so that by default it comes up under mobile (since that's the majority of numbers I add to my contacts)?Also, is there a way to easily switch the classification of a number? Lately I've been just going into the contact and retyping it, but doing that for all of my contacts will be a pain.

Meanwhile I was given a temp one. The number appears when I press send but although my number has now been transferred, the temp number still appears when I press send. Don't remember whether I input the number when setting up or whether it appeared automatically when the phone read the sim card. Please is there a way of me entering the new number or do I need to wait for Orange to do something, or tell Orange?I'm sure there is a very simple answer.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've ported over my old number to orange and all seems ok but When i press the green phone button and the list of recent calls comes up the number displayed in the "my number" line at the top of the screen is the number i had before my number was ported over. I've contacted Orange and they sent me a text to update my settings. This didn't solve the problem. I have noticed when i do make a call the correct number is displayed on the right hand side of the screen (in call).How do i ge the "my numnber" line to display my correct number?

(some for the better but some worse !)anyways to the point. I realized that my picture count has been resetted to IMG00001-xxxxx.
