BB Curve 8520/8530 :: 004/111/112 Cant Find Anyone Selling This Version Number
Aug 14, 2010I am trying to replace the screen for my 8520 but am a bit confused because the version number reads as 004/111/112 and I cant find anyone selling this version number anywhere. A lot of people are selling 004/005 so I was wondering if that version is compatible or not. If anyone has had the same problem or knows of a solution I would greatly appreciate any help.

Jul 14, 2010I am new to this whole Blackberry thing, so please... take it easy on me.Anyway, whenever I add a new contact from a phone call or whatever it, by default, goes under as their "Work" number. Even when I transferred numbers from my Envy to my Blackberry a lot of the contacts went under "Work" rather than "Mobil".How can I change it so that by default it comes up under mobile (since that's the majority of numbers I add to my contacts)?Also, is there a way to easily switch the classification of a number? Lately I've been just going into the contact and retyping it, but doing that for all of my contacts will be a pain.

Jan 27, 2010Had my BB on Orange 1 week PAYG. It took a week to bring my phone number from previous carrier,
Meanwhile I was given a temp one. The number appears when I press send but although my number has now been transferred, the temp number still appears when I press send. Don't remember whether I input the number when setting up or whether it appeared automatically when the phone read the sim card. Please is there a way of me entering the new number or do I need to wait for Orange to do something, or tell Orange?I'm sure there is a very simple answer.

Feb 13, 2010I've ported over my old number to orange and all seems ok but When i press the green phone button and the list of recent calls comes up the number displayed in the "my number" line at the top of the screen is the number i had before my number was ported over. I've contacted Orange and they sent me a text to update my settings. This didn't solve the problem. Apr 17, 2011I have a BB Curve 8520. I just was searching the options page and then I believe I clicked the speed dial option. The lock keyboard option was 'a', and I clicked it and it locked the keyboard. I hadn't realized there was a lock for my keyboard (and had been searching for one). However, I can't get it unlocked. When I press the menu key, it pops up that 'keyboard is locked. Press the Mute button to unlock."
However, I don't know where the Mute button is, nor can I get it to unlock. My theme is precision zen (I believe) if that makes a difference.
how I can unlock my keyboard? how to successfully lock it in future? I guess I don't understand the speed dial aspect of the phone.

(some for the better but some worse !)anyways to the point. I realized that my picture count has been resetted to IMG00001-xxxxx. Is there anyway i could reset it so that it would continue my original count ?Its a pain finding the pictures as it would be in-between my older pictures with the low counts.
