I just got the blackberry 9300 and had it hooked up to my computer and was trying to registar it when somehow it locked my phone I tried my passwoed for community support and it will not unlock. Someone said to use up all my 10 trys then the phone will reprogram itself but I am affraid to do this I need help setting up the phone step by step.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 8530 and while I was texting today my phone kept sending the message before I pressed the send button, after a while I figured out it happened anytime i pressed on the p key. So like I usually do when I have problems with my phone, I turned it off and back on. Then when it came back on and I was asked for my password, (which contains p's) my password kept sending as soon as I hit the p and it came back as incorrect because I was unable to finish typing it. I am now locked out of my phone and don't know how to fix it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI got a BB 8310 from my girlfriend. While tryin to update to simply sync my music to the phone, i decided to update the phone's software which has turned into a disaster! While updating, during the screen where it says "DO NOT UNPLUG", the faulty USB cable came out leaving the phone unfinished. Now all the phone does is blink with a red light. It does NOT come on at all. The screen remains black. When its plugged in to the computer now, it doesn't read its a BlackBerry. It says "USB device not recognized".
Now I know that during the installation the phone's system files where probably deleted. And not replaced. So what now? Is there something I can do to have the phone recognized by my computer? It was backed-up before the new installations took place, but does not help because the computer is not recognizing the phone. HELP PLEASE! I would hate to lose my new BlackBerry before I actually get to enjoy it.
I cannot read messages that are sent to me when my phone is locked. When i unlock it it says at the top of the screen that i have 12 unread messages but when i go into the message folder it shows no new messages!

He is not an avid crackberry user, so did not have his contacts backed up on his computer, and of course he lost his contacts, except for the ones with email addresses attached to them for some reason. He lost all phone numbers. I was wondering if there is any way his contacts would have been backed up, either with verizon, on the media card, any way to get them back..... Questions:
-will restoring this backup to the new unlocked phone restore it to its original locked state (i.e. will i have to re-jailbreak/unlock)? or will it simply restore preferences, etc...?
-otherwise, if i call this phone a new name, is there a way to transfer my purchased apps to the new phone's account?

i am locked out my samsung galaxy s5 phone. i went on the android device manager web and tried to do the whole step until i realized the location on my phone is off. so everytime i reset the password instead of getting the black screen and asked for a pin it keeps asking me for alternate password.i really dont want to do factory reset and lose all the pic memories i made with my kids and family. The memories i cant get back.

Apparently the guy who had it, had it locked to a BES and now I cannot disable my password protection settings. I want to keep it secure but it locks after 5 minutes and is very aggrevating to keep unlocking it.
