My curve 9360 is not even a year old yet and I have app world and when the download is finished it don't even install the app the device just cuts out and starts back up again. I don't know what to do I love my apps and I cant have them.
View 1 RepliesLast night I downloaded the latest OTA upgrade for my daughter's Virgin Mobile (UK) 9360. It appeared to be just a newer build of OS 7.0.0 that the device came with (not 7.1). I disabled most of the languages except for English, French and Spanish as suggested in the prompts.The upgrade (33.9MB) downloaded and verified OK, and the phone started doing a backup of her current data. The last time I checked the screen it showed it was about 50% done with the backup phase, however about 30 mins later I looked again and the screen was completely off and no buttons worked at all (the charger was plugged in, so battery should have been fine).

View 2 Replies View Relatedwhenever i download and install applications from ovistore it doesn't continue and ends up as error. and when i tried to sync again my phone to nokia acount (the one where nokia sends link to your phone to sync it) i never receive the message. the instruction in the manual syncing doesn't seem so helpful as i can't find the "To create the profile, select "Menu", then "Connect", then "Sync" part.

The reasonable conclusion is that the roll out of ICS is over, and if you haven't been upgraded, it's not going to happen. So, is that true? Please tell us if it is, so I can stop visiting this forum like an idiot. If we are not being upgraded, keeping us hanging on for months is not making us love Sony any more. To be honest, I didn't buy this phone with an expectation of ICS, so if it was never offered, I'd have been content. Instead, I'm grumpy. View 6 Replies View RelatedSwype used to work fine for me, but for the last month or so it does not work at all.I repeatedly get a pop up saying I have to upgrade (at beta.swype), or that the screen size is not right.I install again and again but still it does not work.The trace line appears on the keyboard ok, but the finished word does not appear in the text box. After finishing the word, both shift keys light up.All input modes are set to Swype, but it makes no difference.I should add that "normal" text input works ok on the Swype keyboard.

So my Bold 9780 has been acting very weird lately. And for some reason I think it has somethign to do with BB Protect. It wanted to do an update while I was in a wifi zone and then thigns started going wrong from that day.So what happens is i'll be scanning thru the icons and they'll just open without me clicking on them. Also, when texting or using bbm, my msg will send without me clicking send. So I will be half done a msg and it'll send. Finally, I've tried to battery out, restore, and all those classic quick fix optoins and they haven't worked.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy daughters phone used to connect as USB and you could see her phone from the computer (iMac, Windows). Now when she chooses USB it does not prompt for password, and only connects for charging as if she chose Charge Only.
I don't think it's the computer, same effect on our iMac and 2 Windows computers. Is there a setting in her phone which needs to be changed, or some software update (it seems to be fully updated)
