View 5 Replies View RelatedMy E71 started giving me a new problem since the last few days:Firstly, I was not able to charge the battery. I succeeded after fiddling with the charging point, there were flashes on the screen, but it resumed charging.I was not able to start up the phone - pressing the power button didn't seem to work. Even taking the battery out and re-trying was like a trial and error method. It works, but I have to try more than once. The phone switches off automatically. If there is movement, e.g. walking with the phone in my pocket, it is definitely going to be switched off.If the phone lies unused for a relatively long period of time, e.g. 30 min, the power saver screen hangs up and I have resort to taking the battery out and follow the entire process. This seems to have started all of a sudden without any prior warning. I shall be grateful to anyone who can help me address this problem.

I have purchased a E6-00 about 4 months back. This phone has a tendency of automatically shutting down. It often shuts down when I am using it. It always shuts down when I keep it idle for a while.I have visited Nokia care twice, once they restore the factory settings. The problem persistedNext time around they upgrade the software to Bell OS. The problem still persists.Their technicians have absolutely no idea about what the problem is and I am stuck up with a defective but expensive handset.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI lost my charger but I found another charger that fits which belongs to my headset. When I tried to charge with that charger the charging light on the side comes on. After a while the white screen with the nokia sign appears for few seconds and then shuts off automatically and the charging light comes off. When i tried to use the power button it doesn't turn on. Also one time it turned on with the white screen with the nokia sign and the battery logo was displayed. The battery was empty. Do you think its the charger fault or something happen to the phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my nokia 5530 for over 5 and half months but then recently yesterday in the morning when i woke up my phone was ringing so when i answered it just switched off itself. It wasn't even getting switched on. So i charged it and after 1 minute it did switch on so i thought it was a battery problem but when i tried to call it switched off again. Now tomorrow I will go to Nokia Care but the problem is that my father had got the phone for me from Spain in September the time when it wasn't even launched here. So do guys think will they repair it for free or will i get charged for it?please reply.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo yeah, my wives 8310 battery reports between 50-100% charge, and if she is in a call, bam it shuts off, and will only turn back on, on charger. I would think it was battery BUT; this happened every day while in California, we went to South Carolina for the holidays (whole month of december), and it happened only once.OS is up to date, I upgraded to latest to make sure that wasn't the issue, happened following day (in Cali)and battery is 2 y/o. Anyone ever hear of this anomaly?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my OS on my curve 8520 and now i hear static when talking with someone for a few minutes and thte screen goes white. I have to take out the battery and plug it in to turn it back on or it stays stuck on the white screen and is non-responsive. I like the new features on the upgrade but I think it is what is draining my battery not even sure if it is the battery. I used to hear beeps when the batter would die and the battery indicator would start to show in red. Since the upgrade again I hear static and the phone goes white. What can I do to fix this. I can't operate like this it is dangerous and I travel alot.

When I make a call or recieve a call. The phone suddenly shuts down after a number of minutes in the call. This time is variable and a number of seconds prior to the shutdown you can hear a crackling sound.
- The phone will only restart properly if I connect if to the external power. If I pull the battery it will restart, but shutsdown again after a short time (without any calls made).
- Problem doesnt occur when I with the external power connected.
I reset the phone back to factory settings to no avail.
I ordered a blackberry from ebay (ordered several phones before with no issues) and I can't figure out what's going on. First, I had to figure out how to turn the radio back on as it was off when I got it. Now every time I click "camera" the phone shuts completely off and restarts! Tried two different batteries, on and off the charger, with and without microSD card. Any ideas?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 8530 with Boost Mobile. I took the battery out for a min like I do every night to reboot it, put the battery back in and it started to reboot. After bout a min or so it shut down and started rebooting again. It keeps doing it over and over again. I call Boost support and they can't help me, they want to send me a refurbished phone. My phone is only 4 months old. I have never dropped it or gotten it wet. I've tried hooking it up to my computer to wipe it out and reset it or whatever it's called but It won't connect to the computer because before it can reboot all the way it shuts down again.

I don't think it's the computer, same effect on our iMac and 2 Windows computers. Is there a setting in her phone which needs to be changed, or some software update (it seems to be fully updated)
