Just did the new download and ever since the phone rebooted. It is vibrating every 15-30 seconds and doing this faint tone sound. I have check the sounds and have turned the phone off and then on again.
View 7 RepliesI have a blackberry bold 9000, recently ive been having some problems with it, i did a routine battery pull while the phone was frozen, when it rebooted the arm on the loading screen went around twice then the phone rebooted again, it repeatedly does this until the phone dies, if i hook it up to the charger....same outcome, i am a poet and have months of work stored in the memos, and have about 90 numbers that werent saved on the simcard, i took the simcard out and the memory card, i have done pretty much everything i wus ever told to do as far as fixing it, i plan on buying an bold 9700 but i still must retrieve my contacts and memos can anyone give me any tips as far as fixing it, or atleast tell me how to get my memos and contacts off, thanks for your time and consideration.

Almost, because it seems the "o" key in the keyboard is pressed also when I don't press it. After some seconds, the things turn normally. I suspect a software problem.

The download was OK & I looked through JavaJazz after downloading but now I can't find an icon for either so can't open them. I was expecting to find icons on the home page or in the Applications folder. I'm sure it's very simple but I just can't find them.
View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery email I receive thru gmail it vibrates, not just once but non-stop until I read or delete the mail. It vibrates every 5 seconds sort of like as if I had an incoming call.
Have searched this forum and elsewhere and have found answers on how to stop just one vibration, which others have had problems with, but even those tips don't work.
And the weirdest thing is it even overrides the silent function when nothing should vibrate. This only occurs with gmail. I have tried turning off ALL notifications for that account to no avail.
This is a replacement HTC One that I just received thru verizon. This only happens with gmail, no other apps.

1. I've downloaded the Facebook "bookmark", but I'm not sure where this is found?? I thought it would be an icon, that I could then add to the home screen? If it IS, then how do I find it, and do this?
2. Is it possible to add my iTunes catalogue, or a part of it, to my BB - are they compatible in any way?
3. How do I select something other than Vodafone's horrible home page, to be my landing page on the internet?
5. What is the difference between the "browser" icon and the "WAP" icon?? Am I meant to go through one in preference to the other, as ultimately, they both do the same thing??
6. Is the pin number solely for giving to BB "friends" so we can chat on messenger, or does it have any other uses?
Im in the right section but i just got my blackberry curve in the mail today and everytime i try to dial a number to call,or scroll through the phone will go to a black screen with the red light on top. Then it will come back on. On occasions it goes to the hour glass for like 3 min, tHEN RESTARTS.This started as soon as i turned my phone on.

-it appears that BB is draining the battery from a full charge battery after unplugging and powering on....w/out any use of unit.
-the red LED light comes on after plugging via a/c charge. After about 10 seconds, the LED light goes out...and indication that it's not charging.
-Battery is a new battery, and is completely dead.
-overall, it appears that unit starts a charge, then just stop charging.

I tried leaving it without pressing the button for a few minutes but that did not work either.
I also tried the shf +caps +del [holding them down all at once] but this failed to work aswell.

View 12 Replies View RelatedMy 3 day old Z3Â rebooted to factory settings while having it in my pocket. I was out for a five hours walk and have used it serveral times during the walk to take photos. They were stored on the SD card. Battery was on 73%. At the end of my trip I noticed it asked for my pin code to unlock the sim card. I used my newly set pincode for simcard and it worked fine. The telephone was set up with screenlock as well, but that has disapeared together with all my installed programs and my photos and videos on the SD card.

I logged on to my Live account and there is a device back up on there but how do I install it back to the phone. I hope my contacts are stored in there. Meanwhile I was given a temp one. The number appears when I press send but although my number has now been transferred, the temp number still appears when I press send. Don't remember whether I input the number when setting up or whether it appeared automatically when the phone read the sim card. Please is there a way of me entering the new number or do I need to wait for Orange to do something, or tell Orange?I'm sure there is a very simple answer.
I just had this new BB 8530 for a few hours from the Verizon store. I love it and it seems have a lot better than my old BB 8330. Got home, I plug the BB 8530 to the computer, using BB Desktop Manager to transfer my contacts and calendar, then it just kept on booting for hours and hours.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry 8530smokey violet, my carrier is Verizon. I'm having trouble receiving and sending any type of message(bbm/email/text) while on a phone call. When I hang up ALL my message come pouring in (I guess I should be happy they come in at all). Initially all the messages came in silently so I adjusted it so that I would be notified when a message comes in. I've since removed it but I still have the problem. Any advice?
Also while at work I changed the ringing to silent but all my messages cause my phone to make noise, I assumed when I made the phone silent I assumed all messages/phone calls would be silenced. Was I incorrect?
