BB Curve 83xx :: Version 4.5.0.182 Installed / No Network Coverage
Jul 9, 2010
I had my 8310 formatted lately and got a Ver 4.5.0.182 installed on the same. The PDA works fine and the software seems to work properly. However from the time I have got my phone back, there is no network coverage on the phone. Tried everything in the network connection. Tried manual too but it just does not get any network coverage. I did a wipe handheld to reset it o factory setting. Still the same. Even used different SIM cards to check if that would work.
I used to browse webpages through wifi connection. Recently, I did a security wipe. After that, I can see that my phone connects to our home wifi. But whenever I try to open webpages or apps using wifi, I get an error that says I don't have network coverage/connection. I tried checking wifi settings and all but it seems that everything's normal...
i just got my blackberry a few days back on a plan with vigin media with unlimited internet it was working fine until a few days back where whenever i clicked the browser it would say "there is insufficient network coverage to process your request. please try again." i do not understand why this is happening as it was working a few days back i have tried a few battery pulls but it has still not worked for me. I have even switched my phone on and off and turned all connections of and restored them. I really do not know what to do as i can know longer browse the web or recieve emails. In the top right corner it says "gprs" and even when i have full bars the connection does not work. I have called customer services and they have failed to help me so far any help appreciated..
I set my connection preference to: Wi-Fi Preferred. Recently I notice, every time I leave my office or area with wifi, my network coverage doesn't change to EDGE automatically. Sometimes I get edge, sometimes nothing at all (either "X" or OFF). I've to turn my BB off for few seconds, turn it back on, then I get EDGE. Does anybody know why this happens?
After I installed 5.0 on my Verizon 8330, ever time I try to start the camera I get a message saying the camera cannot be started. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Has anyone figured out how to fix this?
I just installed Vlingo 4.5 and now the missed call, calendar etc icons no longer appear at the top of my screen. I have done a battery pull and when booting up the icons will flash up on the screen but then disappear again. Has this ever happened to anyone? Anyone know how to fix this?
I have just received a "Blackberry Bold 9700 Unlocked International Version" which i purchased from Amazon.Com. "This is supposed to be a new unbranded unit".
The installed software version is 5.0.0.351 with platform 5.1.0.98 and branding version 1.0.160.529q.I have read in this forum that there is a later version of the os available yet when I utilized the BB desktop software updater, it say that the latest version is installed. Is this correct?
I also have other issues with applications. I am unable to download and install the "BlackBerry APP World"; I get a message, " Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry App World"
"Google talk" give an error messag: " Service not enabled for this hand held" "Blackberry maps" are not loaded on the handset.Setup wizard does not give me the option to set up my personal e-mail only enterprise e-mail.I am able to browse and send and receive MMS & SMS messages.
Kindly advise as to ho to resolve these issues and whether there is a more current software version for the handset, and if so: how do I update it.
Early this morning is the last time my handhled has reconciled with the yahoo mail function. Unable to update feeds on Facebook and I can't access internet. The message I receive is "There is insufficient network coverage to process your request"
I know that I have a seen post on here regarding this but I can't find it. Sometime since Dec when I last left my time zone my BB has stopped updating using the network as the source.
I've had my BB curve for almost a year - and have to regularly synchronize to get emails; but for the past 3 days I have not been able to access net work - even to check emails to see if connection needs updating. just keep getting the same message: unable to connect to the selected provisioning server. when i turn off, pull battery, the turn on - the BB looks like it is trying to synchronize and connect, but it quits after a few seconds.
Whenever I reboot my 8330 (battery pull or alt+shift+del), it always comes back up with the data connection off, and i have to go Manage Connections and turn it on. Every time, without fail. I can't find a setting for this. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
So I was camping and sprint has horrible coverage in mountains so I should do nothing on my phone. However VZW people were fine. I switched from roaming to normal like 50 times. Is there a way to make it sit on vZW?
I have the 8330 on the Sprint network. This would not be a problem but it does not automatically turn it back on when I charge the battery. Is there any way to set it so it automatically turns it back on when the battery charges?
ok so i found a usb network adapter that would fit my blackberry i knoe that my blackberry dosnt suport wireless internet but is there any way i could use the network adapter to acess the internet. or is it possible to creat a bluetooth modem on my computer and acess the internet via bluetooth on my phone?
I'm probably in the minority of having just upgraded my phone to 2.1 recently. I did it through PC companion and the phone was working fine however I did notice that dual touch was not updated. So the next day I connected it and tried SE Update Service. The message stated that the latest software was already installed. I then disconnected the phone but now I have no network at all. I've even tried using different sim cards as well. So should I just go ahead and reinstall the update or is there some sort of software repair available with SEUS or PC companion? Also, can anyone tell me what the latest firmware, baseband version etc. should be if I have the latest update with the dual touch
i just bought this new Xperia Ray (android 2.3.3) in October. I'm using a 2G sim.the problem is that if the phone goes out of coverage, then it doesn't reselect the network. After some time if some1 calls, my phone indicates a switched off message whereas it is 'ON'. I don't know if it is a Phone issue or Android 2.3.3 issue or Network provider issue.
I'm using E72, i've problem of NO NETWORK COVERAGE as when i'm talking in phone with somebody, suddenly i can't hear the voice but still it shows as in connection there and later it shows as no network coverage and cut the connection. now it happns normally and i don't know whether its the coverage problem or phone problem
I have the Blackberry Curve 8330.When the battery dies, I plug it in. After I turn it back on i get the symbol in the top right that says "off" which according to the starting guide book says "Your connection to the wireless network is turned off" The only way i can fix this is pulling the battery. Is there a way to get back on after my phone is charged besides pulling the battery??
My Nokia N97 Mini, about 1 year old, suddenly decided it did not want to get any reception at all. I have travelled via train to different places for work and such and noticed it still was not getting reception. I have also tried restarting the phone, trying my sisters sim card and none of this seemed to work.
I'm looking to buy the Bold 9700 on Orange basically due to the UMA feature. However, I have a couple of questions which I hope someone can help with
-regarding the branding/software - have Orange added loads of their own software i.e orange world icons etc? And do they cause phone to be compromised in any way compared to O2, Vodafone etc?
- how is Orange overall as a network for 3G coverage?
My phone (K800i) has displayed no network coverage for almost a month now, I have tried network search auto and manual, and I have tried my SIM in other phones and it works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions because I am fed up of this phone I am having to use while I try and fix my own.
I will try explain my problem and what i`ve done as clear as possible.I bought w995 on orange from ebay and i thought that unlockingdebranding will be a piece of cake.I was wrong, So, after frrustrating news that A2 phones can be unlocked only by a paid service i ordered one myself. Finally i got it unlocked, but still on Orange firmware. Shoved my o2 sim in it and everything was working fine. Next step that i took - debranding. Got A2uploader,FS+main+custom pack from c905 and started to flash it. After flash was successful I turned it on and was kinda amazed - "no network coverage" was written on my screen. Tried different SIMs- same problem. So, now i`m stucked with this pointless brick aka phone. Some info about recent solutions given: -It`s not in flight mode. -Master reset didn`t help. -Tried various FS+main+custom packs -Tried D-ultimate unlocker (Direct Unlock(+Sec. zone rebuild))

After upgrade to Belle refresh, my Nokia E7-00 keeps restarting when network coverage is very low, or gone. I think, that this is an issue related to the phone's network connection, because the problem of the phone restarting is non-existing, when the phone is in offline-mode, and the problem is non-existing, when network connection is good. The problem did not exists before upgrading to Belle-refresh.
Can unlocked t-mobile 8320 phones on the at&t network access BIS?I can not get mine to work and I feel like I have tried everything in the book. We just bought it so I am trying to see if the phone came to use broken.
I have Nokia 5800 since 1 year. It was working fine and battery life time was 2 to 3 days. Before 3 days, I was outside when my phone switched off due to battery run out. After 5 hours arrived my home and plugged in the charger and switched on the phone immediately.I was surprised when I found that the time is 5 hours back, it should be correct in new phones.Any way, since that time when I am trying to call any number, I am getting connection error and No network coverage alarms although I have a strong signal bar and 3G is persists.I had to restart my phone and I could make a call until it stopped again. Also I noticed that the battery is running out after 6 hours only.I tried many things until I solved the connection problem by changing the network mode from Dual to GSM and it worked fine but still the battery life time is around only 6 hours.Actually, I don't know what the problem is. Is it a hardware or software problem? I read many topics that soft and hard reset has no use. I upgraded Firmware to V 30 .0.011 since 7 months without any problem. No I am trying to recalibrate the battery and adjust its pins hopefully it will work.
