Today I was messing with my phone and started a diagnostic test but then I aborted it and now my phone wont connect with my network at all...
Data services: On
Mobile network: * None*
I used to charge my BB using a cradle. Last week I went back to using the USB connection. Now, every time I
a) turn it off
b) charge it via USB
c) turn it on.
The Mobile network comes up as off.
I go to Manage Connections and check the box, and everything is fine again.Anyone have a clue what's going on? BB 8330, VZW, v4.5.0.77 (Didn't upgrade because their newer release is supposed to be less good).
I know that I have a seen post on here regarding this but I can't find it. Sometime since Dec when I last left my time zone my BB has stopped updating using the network as the source.
Source is set to Network.
I've had my BB curve for almost a year - and have to regularly synchronize to get emails; but for the past 3 days I have not been able to access net work - even to check emails to see if connection needs updating. just keep getting the same message: unable to connect to the selected provisioning server. when i turn off, pull battery, the turn on - the BB looks like it is trying to synchronize and connect, but it quits after a few seconds.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had my 8310 formatted lately and got a Ver 4.5.0.182 installed on the same. The PDA works fine and the software seems to work properly. However from the time I have got my phone back, there is no network coverage on the phone. Tried everything in the network connection. Tried manual too but it just does not get any network coverage. I did a wipe handheld to reset it o factory setting. Still the same. Even used different SIM cards to check if that would work.

After I turn it back on i get the symbol in the top right that says "off" which according to the starting guide book says "Your connection to the wireless network is turned off" The only way i can fix this is pulling the battery. Is there a way to get back on after my phone is charged besides pulling the battery??

My blackberry curve had been working fine up until last night. I tried a few things such as reconnecting to the verizon mobile network, I did a reboot and a few hard reboots, I finally wound up doing a wipe which didn't help either. Before I wiped the bb I ran a diagnostics test and my radio data activation would say no and everything else would be unknown. I have no service books and my host routing table is empty. Yhe blackberry internet server doesnt recognize that the phone is activated. I dont know what else to do, I took it to a local verizon store and he said my software is shot and I need a new phone.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an unlocked t-mobile 8320 on at&t I can't connect to BIS and edge is not capitalized. I have a BIS data plan I can browse but no BIS stuff. I have loaded a new OS, have done multiple swipes, a have done multiple battery pulls, multiple host routing table registrations, have reentered my PIN and IMEI number at the att BIS login multiple times, have sent service books multiple times, and then just generally fulled around with the settings ALOT.I have switched my SIM card into someone elses phone which showed 'EDGE' and their SIM card into my phone which showed 'edge'.
Is there any hope for me? What can I do? What should I do? Also I want to thank BigbadWulf for the helpful OS installation instructions. I would link it but I'm a big newb and thus don't have the privilege.
When i connect the Jabra C250 to my blackberry it does not connect. Is there something i am supposed to do. Nothing in the manual.

My wife's phone stopped working last weekend. I went through the T-mobile technical care people and their solution was to replace the phone. Unfortunately the phone has a small crack in the bottom bezel so they won't replace it unless I pay the $175 deductible. I am hands on enough to fix some parts of the phone (I've replaced the screen on my G3 twice) so I thought I'd give it a shot here.
Her phone will work on wifi, but if you turn wifi off or if she goes out of wifi range her phone stops working. When the t-mobile person tried to have me manually connect it to the network, it said unable to connect to the network, please try again. We did a soft and hard reset. They tried to refresh my network connectivity and none of these options worked. We moved the sim card into my phone and it worked just fine. So obviously there is a hardware issue going on.
I know there are some threads on here with an issue like this but check it out:Last week my iPhone 3G stopped connecting to my wireless network. Since then I have changed the WPA Key and even removed it completely so that there is no password and it still does not connect. I tried my wife's iPhone at the same time and that connected no problem - even on another network my iPhone refuses to connect to a wireless network. Do I need to get it replaced?

I flashed the phone back to its original ROM which is Hong-kong ROM with windows phone recovery tool, it has not fixed the issue. The phone does not connect to GSM network anymore. Since Thursday night I've been receiving a SOS signal from my pay as you go Blackberry 8520 when I'm in my apartment or on my block. Or worse, it will say I have full coverage but I can't send or receive phonecalls or messages. If I walk two blocks in any direction the signal comes back. I've been to the Vodafone store multiple times and with the language barrier they keep telling me nothing is wrong. I finally got them to give me a new sim card today hoping that would fix it but i still can't get any signal. I'm sure it's probably something to do with the network but really, for three/four days?? I've lived in the same apartment for the past 4 months with absolutely no problem. I only have a week left in Italy with this phone but it's frustrating because I have to stay home and study for finals and now I can't get into contact with anyone. I've tried the battery pull, wiping my device, changing my SIM card...literally everything I can think of.

Steps I took: Settings--Wi-Fi--Advanced--hitting the "+" at the bottom of the page--entering the name of my Enterprise network--it asks for my password BUT it never prompts me for my username, which is required to log in.
Before it's asked: I have the latest firmware installed on my phone. This network has allowed multiple iPhones to connect and an old HTC incredible phone.
