Has or does anyone know if it's possible to take the 3g radio out of my LG Shine and install it in my 8310? The obvious goal being to have 3g in my curve. If I do a wipe and install 5.0 will it support the radio?

View 4 Replies View RelatedGreetings, blackberry 8310: some keys are not working, now normally I would think it's because it has gone through some rough punishment, but odd enough, sometimes they work. The Keys i'm talking about are the Z-C-N-M-SPACE-RIGHT SHIFT-LOWER VOLUME keys, but, when I press Z like 10 times it starts to work, so does the C, and then the N and M and SPACE, and what's even weirder is that when the keys do work, they work without any problem whatsoever, I think it's a software problem or something or an OS problem but I'm not an engineer, so I dont know.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi have a 8310 curve and it's not working correctly.Everything on the phone works except the audio, both the speaker and mic, work intermittently. It's kind of hard to explain but the audio sounds very choppy and it is difficult to hear anything. I've tried a system wipe on the phone and that still didn't do anything.

The phone works but several Blackberry features are missing, including the ability to set up email internet and outlook email accounts.Also, the broadband connection still says "edge" in lowercaps, which I have heard is ATT specific.Can I use this phone on a T Mobil network? When I attach the USB cable to the BB the system tray does not pop up with a notification that says "found new hardware" like it normally does when you plug a BB in. When the phone boots up it displays error msg " JVM Error 513". I attempted to looking into the device by using "cracmem" and "JL_Cmder" and no data is to be found and thus there is nothing to wipe. I suspect that the device has already been wiped thus the no data. I have pulled the battery from the phone and reinstalled; unplugged the usb cable during the BB boot process and nothing is happening. The DM application loader will not allow me to procede due to computer not recognizing the BB device thus it is not generating the "USB:UNKNOWN".

My 8320 used to connect to my WIFI, but after the latest software update, they seemed to disable that feature. I tried using BB Desktop Manager, but that looks for .ALI files. Anyone have a proven method? Many of the techniques found on the Internet are not working. Any way to reinstall the old OS that allowed me to connect to my WIFI?

Do I need to format the card transfer stuff.I don't want to do I need to format the card in the phone onthe computer and if in the computer "how". I am trying to go to a 1gb to a 4gb... I looked on the forums for awhile and found only the tutorial on inserting the card, I had no trouble with that.

just bought this device, trying to install some apps, and getting the "device radio is turned off" issue. i read the forum and tried the battery suggestion, rebooting, and all that. i do not have data plan on this phone, not sure if that is causing it, but my wifi is working fine as i was able to browse ebay and Internet.

It comes on, shows the hourglass image and in less that few seconds, the screen goes black, the red led light comes on and starts booting all over. This cycle continued until the battery gets fully drained.
