BB Bold :: Cannot Synchronize Calendar With BTYahoo
Dec 5, 2012I have set-up my Blackberry 9780 (running version 6) to synchronise with my BTYahoo emails and contacts successfully, but the calendar just doesn't synchronise. There appears to be no interaction between the Blackberry's calendar and BTYahoo's.
My service provider is O2. O2's support said this is a known problem and I should rebuild my Blackberry, but I am hoping for a less dramatic fix and one that sounds specific to my problem rather than a generic answer for a problem.

Nov 23, 2011I can't synchronize my calendar outlook with my BB 9700.
I open my BB Desktop software and go to "organizer". The only icon that say "not installed" is my calendar.
All the rest (memo pad, Address book and tasks) are OK. I try to reset settings but nothing work....

Jun 30, 2010I have two problems with my new E52 (although I do not have other problems described on this forum). So:
1. I wanted to make E52 work like s40 phone in terms of functions arrangement and, long story short, now Menu button is under middle navigation button (Menu is the first icon in the icon shortcuts on the desktop). Under left function key I have Profiles. Because of that I can't lock the keypad the way it was designed which is left_function_key-right_function_key. I know that I can lock it by using on/off button but that is not very convenient.Is there any way to define other keypad locking sequence? For example like the old phones "Menu" + "*" ?
2. Second problem concerns calendar. I tried to synchronize it with Outlook via OVI and something went wrong. Right now I have many entries doubled and some of them finish in 2030. The option to delete before date in E52 does not work. How can I clear the whole calendar?

Feb 27, 2012I am trying to synchronize my laptop calendar with my BB calendar through Microsoft Outlook with no success. When I use the BB Desktop Software for the Curve 8530, I did the following:
I connected the laptop to the BB with a USB cable. I invoked the BB Desktop Software and connected with the BB. I viewed the conflict resolution dialogue box and updated both fields in the device and Microsoft Outlook with highlighted values.
I received error message "Error encountered. Error code - 0x80040fb3. Check documentation." I pressed "OK". I received the message "Unable to complete synchronization". I pressed "OK". Then I hit the "Synch" button on the dialogue box. The message "one or more configured folders is not available. Update folder mapping and try again."
Then I clicked on "organizer" button in the dialogue box. I clicked on "configure settings". I clicked "advanced" after seeing that the "calendar" and "address" book were checked. The error message "no available message stores" was displayed. I clicked "OK". The "Advanced" menu appeared, however the "map folder" button was not highlighted and the message "no folder mapping is available for calendar section".
My e-mail is being synchronized from Hotmail through to Outlook. I can see my Hotmail e-mail in Outlook.My calendar is being synchronized from Hotmail through to Outlook. I can see my Hotmail calendar in Outlook. My address books are not being synchronized. My calendars are not being synchronized.

The first calendar comes with Mail For Exchange, the second from Outlook (synchronization with the Nokia Suite). Calendar Widget only shows events from the Exchange account, and newly added to the second calendar. It does not matter whether the added element: task, meeting. I can only see those that will add to the phone. Synchronized with Outlook do not appear.

Jan 15, 2010My first post to a message board ever! I love my BB, but not being particularly tech savvy, I have been slow going. I have a few questions I was hoping someone could help me with.
1. I set up my personal e-mail address and have that working great. Today I set up my work e-mail address via the enterprise server. My question is can I get those work e-mails to go into a specific e-mail folder rather than the catch-all message folder (which drive me nuts and is hard to read)?
2. I thought that once I set up the enterprise system it would automatically download my work-base calendar and contacts (Microsoft office) to my phone. Is that not the case? Is there something I'm missing? Am I supposed to download the bb software to my work computer as well and sync?
3. Is there a way to get my sent e-mails to go into a sent e-mail folder for the respective e-mail accounts? Or is there a way to format the look differently?

The process starts, but it never passes the address book part (it freezes and eventually crashes). I contacted Yahoo and they referred me to their Yahoo Intellisync. Which they don't support. I would switch to Google, but I recently changed my e-mail account; doing so one more time would be bad for business.

Is it that MOFV can't read Polaris files, or is there the possibility of something sinister going on? I've run two different antivirus programme scans (installed on two different computers) on this file, which haven't flagged anything.
