Blackberry 9700 The device has problem if you activate the security password, the devices does not accept the password until 5 or 6 attempts and then prompts you to type blackberry to continue. Please note format and reinstall is not an option since the restored data does not work. Awaiting a quick solution.

I am having a problem downloading media onto my blackberry bold 9780. I have successfuly installed the CD that comes with the blackberry and the USB cable goes in fine to my blackberry. But then in the last step, it asks for my blackberry password. I believed this to be the 4 digit pin I use to lock my phone, but this failed. I tried other passwords that I use for other various things but it didn't work, and it wiped everything off my phone. After contacting my service provider (o2) they suggested I try changing my 4 digit pin because this is definitely the password it requires. I changed it, but again it didn't work. I was wondering if someone could tell me which password the blackberry needs so I can start putting music onto my blackberry?
Trying to setup email on new Bold 9930 with Verizon Wireless.Not using any Enterprise services.My email says No service established yet, going to setup wizard....OK, but it recognizes my Blackberry ID, but does not accept my password, with a message that either ID or password is wrong.I did not forget it, did not enter any other password, and did not make an error in it.Could another BB user have my ID that I tried to use? (I had problems getting the setup to give me that ID, so I tried inputting <Personal Content Removed> in the field, since they don't tell you a format to use).BB shows that <Personal Content Removed> is my ID.How do I verify with Blackberry what they setup for me? How do I change it?
There has been an issue while setting a password policy . As per the security policy the minimum password length requirement is 6 . There is an another option to set Required Password Pattern which is cvCn(4 characters).When i try to set a new-password with 4 and 6 my blackberry does not accept any of the policy.Now the user is deleted on the server , still the password prompt is present and not letting me to use my blackberry.how to hard reset my blackberry with out entering the blackberry .
I am at my last attemp to enter my password for backberry bold 9700 and if I enter incorrect password all data will be erased.The problem started with my phone was about to die and with low battery the radio went off. When I charged and triedn entering my password. It wont accept and unfornutately the radio/signal is also off.

im abroad working so i've purchased a new vodafone sim card for my blackberry bold 9900 (my normal sim is vodafone). But when i put my new sim into my phone it asks me to log in with my blackberry ID and when i do it is telling me that my password is wrong i've checked and it isnt it says i have 4 more attempts at my password so need to fix the problem quick. It works fine with my old sim card but this happens when i try it with the new one.
I just downloaded the newest OS for my Bold. I had to delete an app for an alarm because it had stopped working. So, I thought I'd just go and re-download it. BUT, I need to enter my email and Blackberry ID Password to download it. I can't figure out what password I used so I tried to reset it. I can't get it to reset on my phone or on a desktop computer. When I tried doing it from a computer, it said it would email me so I could reset my password but I never got an email (tried this a few times). And when I do it on my phone the page either goes nowhere or it gives me an error on the page.
I have forgotten the password to BB ID and also the password associated with the email address linked to BB ID so cannot reset my BB ID password. I have looked through all knowledge base and can't find a solution. Any ideas on how to do a full BB ID reset and new linked email address?

I've encouraged a friend to invest in a BB, she's in another country and we are now in perpetual contact through BB Messenger GREAT But she tells thats can't switch on her 9700 on coz it doesn't recognise her password, she's entered it 8 times, scared to try again as we are really near the 10 max. what can she do?
I have just upgraded my 9700 to .593 and everything works fine except for locking the phone keyboard.
Previously when I click on the top button of the mobile my phone goes into "Password mode" locking which means you can't unlock the device unless you enter the password. But after the update, clicking the button will only lock the keyboard and anyone can unlock it by clicking the same button.
i've noticed on my VZW 9650 that if the screen is password locked, and I start typing in my password when the screen is black, that I'll get an "Incorrect Password" message -- even though I'm entering the correct password. But, if I turn on the screen first, choose "Unlock" and THEN type my password, it's always accepted. So, this issue only occurs if I start typing the password directly from the black screen.I've found that after a few incorrect passwords, the BlackBerry will start showing you the password you're typing, instead of just bullets. If I get to this point, I can see that the reason the password is being rejected is because capitol letters are being inserted in the middle of the password. For example, if I type "password" it's actually being entered as "pasSword" -- hence the rejection.This is very odd, and I can confirm that this behavior does NOT happen on my 9700 -- it's only on the 9650.Hopefully I explained clearly enough -- has anyone else seen this? Or better yet, SOLVED it? I would really prefer to not have to press the "Unlock" button before entering my password every time.
the phone stays on when charging but when taken off it goes blank battery pulled out and put back in, it loads and sometimes it says intialisation failed also its not allowing me to type in my password?
my Bold 9700 recently died on me. Upgraded to Bold 9900 (?). No problems. BUT I'd like to access the data in my password keeper on the old Bold. I can still get into it via the Desktop Manager (now using latest version - 7?), and have extracted all my photos, videos etc. Is there a way of doing the same for the data in the password keeper?
I have the blackberry bold 9000 and my BB Protect has asked me to verify my account after I put in a new sim card. I have put in the correct password but it keeps saying its wrong and I have one attempt left. This has happened to me before and on the 8th attempt, it finally accepted my password. I have tried the "forget password" option but after I've filled the security question and new password, it either freezes and doesn't go to the next page or it says "bad request".
I got a new pay as you go sim chip through rogers and so i had to enter my berry ID username and password. when i did it told me it was wrong, so i went on my laptop and changed my password and tryed agian and it is still telling me that it is wrong. i am 100% sure that i am entering the right username and password as i have them sitting right in front of me on my laptop and am able to sign into it on my laptop, yet when i try and enter it into my phone it tells me it is wrong, ive entered it 9/10 times and now i dont know what to do
my blackberry bold 9700 appearing app error 523. I followed suggestions from forum for soft reset and hard reset, but i have another problem, it is asking for password whenever i click the update but the password is already lost and cannot remember entering one since i bought the phone.
I want to delete my old username email and password b/c it doesn't let me in. It keeps locking me out. I've tried resetting it but it still gives me an error stating "email already exists".
I am trying to log into Blackberry App world. It brings up my e-mail address automaticaly and when I type in a password it says "unable to validate the email address and password combination". It then gives me the option to try to recover my password and the response I get is "Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again". I have been getting this message for weeks. My connection is fine I receive emails every day and I have no problems connecting to the internet.
I would like to add an e-mail address to be pushed to my BB but in order to do this you are required to enter a username and a password on the e-mail set-up. I have tried so many different combinations and am unsure what either of them are. Is there a way to retrieve them?
just got a Blackberry Bold today, but when trying to connect to my home wi-fi network, I mistyped the password. When I try to connect to the wi-fi, I get a message telling me that the "Connection failed due to incorrect network credentials. Verify saved network's security settings". I'm assuming this is because the password I entered was incorrect, but it doesn't give me the opportunity to re-enter it. I've been exploring menus, but can't find how to start again and reset this.
I tried to connect my bb to my pc but i couldn't get the password right! Plus i took the battery off but then it kept asking to enter "blackberry" in order to continue but when i did it was - again- incorrect! I took the battery off again but now it wont even accept my password!
I have no idea what my username is and I don't even think I remember creating one.There's a forgot password prompt, but that's obviously useless if I don't know my username.
