View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a user using a BlackBerry 9850, his email is setup using a pop account on his Outlook 2010 and on his BlackBerry. He ended up trying to synch to his Outlook 2010 so he can get all his contacts onto his phone but managed to lose all contacts. I will be stopping by to help him. What is needed to ONLY synch properly?

When I try to setup the Blackberry desktop to sync with Outlook calendar, the process works fine and it says I did it, but when I hit "finish," it acts as if I haven't done it yet and asks me to do the setup. Backup is working fine. This started when I upgraded a while ago. I just upgraded to version 6.6.6.43

View 2 Replies View RelatedI own a BB Curve 8520. Before having setup the BIS, I could synchronize all my Outlook stuff with the device (contacts, tasks, calendar, ...) via USB as well as Bluetooth. Since I have setup BIS, I can still synchronize my contacts with Outlook, but even when I configure the Calendar to be synched as well, nothing happens. No errors are shown in the log. Seems that the calendar sync is just skipped. Does anyone have an idea what could have gone wrong? I also already tried a soft reset of the device.

View 5 Replies View RelatedEquipment: Blackberry Pearl; PC running Windows 7 and Outlook 2010; PC running Blackberry Desktop software 6.1.0.35. I recently installed Apple's icloud on my PC, linking Outlook 2010 with my iPad. Prior to this I would sync my Blackberry with Outlook. Now that I have icloud installed, Outlook has another account, icloud.I understand I can only sync one Outlook account with my Blackberry, via the Blackberry desktop software. I've gone into the Organizer> Configure settings> Advanced, and try to map the folder associated with icloud. When I go to click on the expand box (plus sign), I get an error box that comes up:Runtime error Error Encountered. Error code 0x80043bea. Check documentationI have no way to now sync my blackberry with my other devices which are now sync'ed with Outlook via icloud.

When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
I ran over my Blackberry 9300 with my wheelchair! Bought a Blackberry Bold.I am trying to set up my email but it doesn't work because "there is another blackberry with the same email address, etc". What do I do?
View 1 Replies View Relatedeverything was fine until this morning. after syncing my bb bold 9780, they prompted me to update my blackberry system software. after i have done so, the phone did a long "reboot" and i realised after that all my email accounts are gone. and i have to set them up again.
however after i go to SETUP, i click on EMAIL ACCOUNTS and then INTERNET MAIL ACCOUNT, it goes back to the SETUP page, every single time. And when i select Exit Setup, the phone freezes. When it freezes, i will take out the battery and try again but the same thing happened every single time!
was it something to do with the software? and more importantly, can anyone tell me what i can do to set up my email accounts?
I have an unlocked 9650, which is provided by Verizon WIreless. When I try to set up my BIS account on the website and provide my pin number and IMEI, it shows that my device can't set up and I should register on my provider. I followed the guide showing to me but there is no effect, so how can I do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new-to-me device, after my original Curve 8530 had to be sent back to the carrier. I restored old settings from a backup re Desktop Manager, but now there are messaging problems. One, my setup folder doesn't have an e-mail setup option. Two, in "Email Reconciliation" option, only chloice I have is to change the e-mail account on "Message Services" drop-down. Related to that, if I'm in "messages," my Options screen lacks "Reconcile Now."
View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought my first BlackBerry (Curve 3G 9300) on Friday and tried to setup a personal email account on the phone via the setup wizard earlier today. The phone said that an update to 6.11...... was needed in order to do this. I let it update, now the phone is just hanging after starting up. If I do a start up after removing the battery it comes up with a black screen with the BlackBerry logo and a progress bar below it. The progress bar moves along until the end, this takes around a minute. It then shows something like a little clock over the logo for about a second. Once this disappears the phone says with the logo and the completed progress bar - and just hangs there.

So if this is the case, then my question is that the will it be impossible to have my email working on it without the BIS or BES service? How can this be possible? I thought I have the option of taking the BIS service or not?I suppose its the same in all countries , nevermind the ISp or Carrier?
My Email Accounts Icon will not open under Setup on my Bold 9930. Neither the push-to-touch or the hot button will open this set-up Icon. All other set-up Icons work okay. I've completely removed the battery and SIM card, but the problem remains.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to remove an old email address and I can no longer get into the email setup area.
I go to the setup on the main screen (the phone with the green gear) and I can see under set up the little icon for Email Accounts, but when I click on it nothing opens up. I can click on other icons (i.e. Wi-Fi) and the set up screen opens for them, but not for the email accounts.
I already had an email account on my bold 9900 but recently i changed my password and now bb email wants me to go to setup and verificate my new password. The problem is that whenever i go to setup and click on email account and then Internet Mail Account nothing happened. It's not responding, and i can't do anything about my email, delate it, nor add new one.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought a new bold 9780 that comes with OS 6. I have already setup an email account and downloaded the new setup app that was prompted once opened the first time. For some reason, the email setup application initializes by it self without me clicking on it and it keeps popping up once in a while. This happened on my torch as well.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOn both my 9930 and 9850, with the new software Sprint rolled out, I did a clean install (as I always do every now and then). When trying to setup e-mail (going to Setup > Email Accounts) does not put me into the Blackberry mail setup application anymore. It takes me directly to the web based Sprint BIS website. Is this a bug? If I setup my email this way I cannot do calendar or contact sync. e.
