My BB came from Singapore and was a gift to me. installation was successfull but when i start to use it i got a message that says'you are currently on a service plan that does not support this applicationif you want to use this application please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan'

Apr 16, 2010I am based in the UK and I am having problems setting up email on my blackberry bold 9700.I have 2 email accounts, both of which come up with 'username and/or password invalid'. My first and main account is with hotmail.co.uk, my second account is with googlemail.com.It might be important to note that my password for both is the same, but I dont see this as an issue as it consits of only letters and numbers.Also, my girlfriend input her hotmail.com account and it worked fine. So why does it work for her and not me?! I have tried to get a hotmail.com account but for some reason only hotmail.co.uk and live.co.uk are the only options for new email accounts here.This problem is also reflected in the Facebook application, whereas my girlfriend input her facebook username (which is her hotmail.com address) and it worked. When I input my Facebook username (my hotmail.co.uk address) it says that this is invalid!It is sooo frustrating and as a new blackberry user I feel a bit out of my depth

BB Curve :: Facebook Notification Error
May 10, 2011On my home screen the blue F symbol is always on screen with the number 5 next to it.....even when there are no new notifications, messages etc in the application....
I have tried deleting the facebook application and reinstalling it, but the 5F symbol is still there!!
It will go up in number and have a star next to it when there are new notifications for me to view, but it's really annoying me that it's there all the time and its wrong!

May 24, 2012I bought the xperia pro 4 days ago, and I love the qwerty keyboard! Unfortunately it won't recognize my SIMcard, but maybe that's because it's kinda old (3 yrs). So I will get a new sim. But now I can't get facebook to upload my photo's. After I have tried to upload a photo, it fails and I can't even reload my newsfeed. Same problem with twitter. After I restart my Pro, facebook works fine again, but as soon as I try to add a picture it fails. Browser works fine, and there's nothing wrong with the internetconnection (I use WIFI). I'm starting to think that maybe there's something wrong with this particular mobile. Or is this a common problem? Or Android problem? I can bring it back to the store (within 7 days), which I will if I don't get it to work.

I am simply selecting the upload photo/video option, choose existing, it compresses the video gets to about 80% and then 'error uploading photos' appears in a grey banner. Mar 17, 2010I have had my n97 for about 2 weeks now and I have not been able to use the facebook application (from ovi) at all. I am with Optus and can access facebook via the web (Optus Zoo), however I cannot use the actual Nokia facebook application.Whenever I try to access the application it takes me to the log-in screen for facebook, and once I have entered my username and password it thinks for a few seconds and then tells me: "Error occurred. Incorrect signature, status: 104"I have looked through forums on the web and it seems like it is a pretty common problem for the Nokia phone. Everything I have read in various forums has lead me to believe that Nokia don't know how to fix the problem either, or just don't care.I am getting really, really, really frustrated with it. I am pretty addicted to facebook and love playing facebook games.
I am dieing to kill some time during my commute by playing some games, and because I can't use the proper application, it would seem I can't play the games.
Can anyone please tell me if hey had this problem and were able to fix it? Did you have to get in touch with Nokia? Were they any help?The forums seem to show that people have been advised to remove the application and reinstall and to clear their cache/browsing history. However, I haven't come across anyone yet where this has actually helped the problem. I haven't come across a single person yet who can actually use the facebook application either.

Mar 2, 2011I downloaded the facebook for blackberry app on my curve. To get into this I click on applications then facebook I prefer to get into facebook this way rather than clicking on the globe. It then gives me the option to enter my facebook email address and password once I've done this I click on login. It very rarely lets me on a box keeps coming up saying unknown error or login expired. It occasionally lets me on after trying to log in about 50 times. I tried uninstalling the app and re-installing it but still no difference.
