Mar 1, 2012since 2 weeks now I can't syncronize my Facebook account because of this "83CF1109" error.I tried by removing the account, by downgrade the OS and then upgrading again but nothing.

Feb 29, 2012I have a noia lumia 710, and whenever I connect my windows phone , zune opens but then an error message prompts. " Connection error, Can't connect to your phone.Disconnect it, restart it, then try connecting again."I have tried all possible solutions.I try every steps suggested in that link.htmand also that link I could do the Certificate steps cause when I open certmgr.msc I don't see anywhere the Zune certificate.

We get the Alert on the Me tile but when we get into the NOtifications section and click onthe notification we get the following message - "Cant get Picture. It may be a connection issue (You can try again Later) Someone else's Picture? It maybe an issue with their privacy settings"All other sections of the Facebook integrations work fins, apps, email, browsing all works fine.Internet works perfect, dont know what the issue is with the Notifications, even if it is my own Picture.

Mar 17, 2010I have had my n97 for about 2 weeks now and I have not been able to use the facebook application (from ovi) at all. I am with Optus and can access facebook via the web (Optus Zoo), however I cannot use the actual Nokia facebook application.Whenever I try to access the application it takes me to the log-in screen for facebook, and once I have entered my username and password it thinks for a few seconds and then tells me: "Error occurred. Incorrect signature, status: 104"I have looked through forums on the web and it seems like it is a pretty common problem for the Nokia phone. Everything I have read in various forums has lead me to believe that Nokia don't know how to fix the problem either, or just don't care.I am getting really, really, really frustrated with it. I am pretty addicted to facebook and love playing facebook games.
I am dieing to kill some time during my commute by playing some games, and because I can't use the proper application, it would seem I can't play the games.
Can anyone please tell me if hey had this problem and were able to fix it? Did you have to get in touch with Nokia? Were they any help?The forums seem to show that people have been advised to remove the application and reinstall and to clear their cache/browsing history. However, I haven't come across anyone yet where this has actually helped the problem. I haven't come across a single person yet who can actually use the facebook application either.

Dec 7, 2012I bought my lumia 920 about a week ago and downloaded the fb app from the store, yet everytime i log into fb it says "login failure. please try again" it doesn't even seem like it's trying to log in, i just automatically get the msg. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, not working.

But I do not get any notifications or a tile count when I get my friend to send me a test message. I waited over an hour on two occasions. Then going into the facebook app after the hour, the messages are there and waiting.Is it because I have facebook linked in the people hub as well as the FB installed? Dec 6, 2012My wife just bought the new 920 (going from N8) ... and so far she is really frustrated!
We have set up her phone with both her Hotmail and Facebook, but that means that when she goes to "persons" she gets a couple of hundred contacts, And she does NOT want that.
She has a list (on her OLD phone) of about 50 contacts she wants, no more no less.
So we went into the settings, and asked it to filter off all contacts from Hotmail and Facebook, which is fine.
BUT, now she can't add new contacts (like in the old days) ... well she can, but they are automatically new Hotmail-contacts, and they get filtered away...
QUESTION: Is there no way to add a contact manually (like in the old days), and it gets saved to "the phone"?
We did manage to move all the old contacts from her old phone, to the new one - but they automatically becomes Hotmail-contacts... (and are filtered off!)
Nokia Lumia :: 710 Facebook Chat Shows No One Online
May 22, 2012I just got a Nokia Lumia 710, but I am having problems using Facebook Chat in it ( The one integrated with messaging). I have setup windows live and facebook to connect with each other and also imported contacts from facebook into windows messenger. I have turned facebook chat on, synchronized both windows live and facebook accounts on my Lumia, but still when I go to online option in "messaging" it says "No one's online" even when there are actually friends online. It does not show a 500 error or something else, it just says no one's online and doesnt update at all. The consequence of the above is that I cant send chat messages from my phone to facebook chat.
