I bought my lumia 920 about a week ago and downloaded the fb app from the store, yet everytime i log into fb it says "login failure. please try again" it doesn't even seem like it's trying to log in, i just automatically get the msg. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, not working.

I can load the app up no problem over packet data, 3G, GPRS or whatever available but when I click on the email address box to type my in address, it stays white and nothing appears. Same goes for the password box. I tried a full factory restore and then reinstalling the packet data settings but no change...

But i have a problem.I can't add a microsoft account to my profile so i can download apps and so on. Tried with @gmail.com's @live.com's and so forth, nothing works. It says something about connectivity but i've tried both on 3G and WiFi.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHaving reliability problems with SMS/MMS on 920? I would say right now the failure rate on MMS is roughly 80% and SMS is around 20%. I'm also noticing some seriously delay in some incoming SMS's (up to 20 minutes). It's 2012 and it's Nokia we are talking about... How can they possibly release a phone that struggles with the most basic of mobile phone tasks? I get that Nokia didn't receive WP8 until a few weeks before the device was released, but, I feel like I'm using a phone built with alpha/beta code.

I can't Send SMS as it shows delivery failure.I contacted with my service provider who gave me SMS center number, but in Message setting when I am entering and tap on "Save", it dost save and reflect in the box. Make sure you have good reception. If you do, the problem may be on the other end.Wait alittle while and tray again" I have full WiFi reception and HDPA+. My phone ( on T-Moble Gemrnay) does NOT provide a " Auto time sync" button. I have set the time as best as I can but no luck getting the phone to login.I have been to the T-Mobile shop today to ask for a brand new Simcard since mine was 3 years old. The did not help at all.If I try to check for new updates ( Phone Update) i get the error :"We are currently unable to check for updates. (801881e4)I can however add my ourlook.com account to mail and it will sync, but the same account will not work in the store,Xbox ,..etc What can I do ? I don't want to send the phone back but will have no choise if I can't find a solution within 1 week.

To get into this I click on applications then facebook I prefer to get into facebook this way rather than clicking on the globe. It then gives me the option to enter my facebook email address and password once I've done this I click on login. It very rarely lets me on a box keeps coming up saying unknown error or login expired. It occasionally lets me on after trying to log in about 50 times. I tried uninstalling the app and re-installing it but still no difference.

We get the Alert on the Me tile but when we get into the NOtifications section and click onthe notification we get the following message - "Cant get Picture. It may be a connection issue (You can try again Later) Someone else's Picture? It maybe an issue with their privacy settings"All other sections of the Facebook integrations work fins, apps, email, browsing all works fine.Internet works perfect, dont know what the issue is with the Notifications, even if it is my own Picture.
