I recently upgraded from a curve to a bold 9900. Now on my 9900 when I use the browser it says that javascript is not enabled. When I go into the browser options to enable Javascript there is a little lock symbol and it won't let me enable it.I'm using 7.1 build 921.

i have a brand new nokia 5800 xpress music and been trying to enable javascript as prompted when going online for the first few times. i have clicked on the 'how to' wording next to the prompt but when i do then next page says 'sorry, the page you requested cannot be found'. i'm not sure but i think that this may be the reason that when i go to look at videos on Internet i get about one second of streaming and then it stops?just want my nice to phone to work properly.

I tried to download a music track from the music store (I have free music for 1 year - contract). When I pressed the download icon - i normally login - but I got an error saying that javascript was not enabled on my phone - when it was. When I selected to show errors as they appeared, the music store kept sending me javascript errors. Only yesterday, did I install a new version of the ovi store - as it asked me to. Any way this is related or how I can get it to work. I have the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic with Navigation.

I had a 9700 last week on Orange (UK) had bad coverage but noticed when i played with the options it connected via my router to UMA. i since returned my phone and now with UK provider Vodafone which works much better, but not managed to to get UMA going. Any ideas?

I plan to back up all my contacts with google sync but I just notice that I use 3 emails to back up my contacts. the main problem is 1 email that I use is company's email which i have resigned so.. it's about time, they deactivate my email & i can lose all my contacts.

1. that email always show "not available" on wireless sync on the contact list properties. while my Gmail email has option yes/no wireless sync.

2. also it doesn't show on the SYNC contact list on default services

3. how I can merge all my backup emails, to be just 1 email for backup data?

I just purchased a new Bold 2 (9700), and I found out that the thing is showing all decimal points as "decimal commas". I'm in Mexico, not Spain, and we use the US decimal point system, that is using decimal POINTS and not COMMAS. How can I switch the BB to use commas? This wasn't a problem on BB OS 4.6 on the Bold 9000... in fact, this is the first time I see my BB using the goofy comma system.

know that the T-mobile branded Bold 9700 have a problem with 3g reception, I'm using the bb in Brazil, and I can get the 3g reception, but only if I enter in:

Menu
Option
Network
Manual
And then I select my carrier "Claro 3G"

If I set to automatic, it only gets EDGE signal. I wanna change the option to "3G ONLY", but I only have: "2G ONLY" and "2G&3G". Can I download some program/update or anything to "make" this menu appear? I think it will end my problem, because I can get 3G reception, but when I go to a place with no signal (like elevators) it comes back to EDGE, and I have to go to menu again.

The first thing is why does android not have tts for texts built into the operating system? This seems like such an easy feature, but it is so important. I know it's not because it's technically challenging, because Windows Phone has had it for years, and I remember using it long before that, just not sure on what platform. enable 3G on my xperia mini ST15i? I have a 3G connection enabled by service provider but i cannot enable it on my xperia mini.

I find only 3 options which are:

1> WCDMA Only
2> GSM Only
3> WCDMA (pref.) / GSM

I find only these 3 options under, Settings ---> Wireless & Networks ---> Mobile Networks ---> Network Mode. I cant find anything that says 3G on mmy phone. Its been a week since i got the phone and i am trying to figure out how to emable 3G.
