Phone is stuck on the blackberry id sign in page won't accept my password even though i've been on the internet to change therefore confirming it was the correct password.... Can't use my phone for anything?

I am trying to set my wife's new BB Bold up to upload FB pics. Her BB will not upload and I think if I download the newest FB app that will solve the problem. However, when I go into App World and try to sign up for a new account it just keeps loading.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBought a new Blackberry 9900 Bold and migrated contact data from old IPhone. Was working OK except that incoming calls were not showing contact name. Tried to hard boot by taking out battery and SIM and reinserting. The devise took to Blackberry id screen. Aftet putting the password showing "Please wait" sign and not logging in.Tried logging in with same password on the computer and password OK. Very frustrating. Read about Data Wipe option - not sure if that would remove all contact list. Any other option ? Dosn't seem a fix available.

I used to have the older Blackberry Bold (through T-Mobile) and all I had to do was click on "Messages" on top.view the previews and then the notifiers would go away. Did this change with the 9930? I have amassed 24 unread emails in my gmail account on my home screen, for which I cannot remove. I have:
1. Deleted all the emails in this account
2. Removed the account and recreated it on the BB
3. Removed the battery
Unfortunately, none of the above has removed the alleged unread emails from my home screen.
my BB bold 9900 has an email count of 1 displayed despite ther being no emails in the inbox.

Whenever I type my password in to access a site, eg: facebook or hotmail, and press 'sign in' the web page automatically closes and returns me to the normal phone display.
