Dec 13, 2011I have my work email (gmail) on my blackberry Torch 9810. I wish that after office hours I sign out from this email but I cannot find a way to sign out from the gmail.

May 5, 2012Bought a new Blackberry 9900 Bold and migrated contact data from old IPhone. Was working OK except that incoming calls were not showing contact name. Tried to hard boot by taking out battery and SIM and reinserting. The devise took to Blackberry id screen. Aftet putting the password showing "Please wait" sign and not logging in.Tried logging in with same password on the computer and password OK. Very frustrating. Read about Data Wipe option - not sure if that would remove all contact list. Any other option ? Dosn't seem a fix available.

Whenever I type my password in to access a site, eg: facebook or hotmail, and press 'sign in' the web page automatically closes and returns me to the normal phone display. I then click on the internet symbol to get back onto it, it reconnects to the internet and back to my home page. i have tried turning it on and off, and removed the battery. i had not knowingly done anything to alter the settings on my phone, and have just updated the software in hope that that would resolve the issue.

Jun 19, 2011I just got my first Blackberry today, and at the vendor, my gmail account was set on the phone. Now my gmail goes ONLY to my Blackberry and not to the gmail account on a computer (desktop and laptop). I really wanted the gmail on the BB as back-up, not primary. I find this situation to be in effect because my BB shows emails in my gmail account that are NOT showing up when I log in to my gmail. Gmail on my computer doesn't "cost" me anything. It does on my BB (until I learn what I am doing with the BB, I got the minimal data rate with AT&T), so I really don't want to have to read all my email on my Torch. I don't mind its being there; I just want it on my computer also.
1. How do I re-set the BB or my gmail so that gmail will go to both places?
2. Or, alternatively, how to do un-install gmail on the BB so my gmail will show up on my desktop/laptop computer?

I was able to add my Yahoo Mail and is working fine. The problem is that, whether I enter the correct or wrong password, what I get is "update failed".

Jul 19, 2011I have a 9800 running 6.0 bundle 2534 (6.0.0.570) with Rogers. I have an email google email account setup using the bb native support. Actually I have 2 gmail account setup. In the settings I have account A set to synchronize contacts, calender, and deleted items. Account B is set to only synchronize deleted items. I have added a new contact to my BB. I've ensured it's contact list: points to account. I do NOT see this contact when I login to my gmail on my personal computer. I added it several days ago. My email is working great so authentication should not be a problem.

My Torch is not reconciling my Gmail automatically; in fact, when I go to the BB menu in e-mail to manually reconcile by selecting that command, it still doesn't work.The above wouldn't bother me quite so badly if I didn't have to delete them (again) one at a time. I'm sure there must be a way to select multiple e-mails from my Inbox to delete en masse, but I haven't hit upon it yet.

It is the only one of the three that did not create an icon when I confirmed it was setup. It only shows up messages in the main messaging icon for all email accounts.I have hard restarted the phone, I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the emails again, nothing changes.

The problem is, all inbound mails (except spams) to my Gmail account causes unread message indicator to be on, even though I have filters in my Gmail account that automatically archieve some of the mails.
