I changed to gmail 2 step verification account I am not bale to reset gmail account even after following the instructions given by Blackberry for validation or though by PC as per the instrcutions received from BlackBerry mail. I am trying to get this done for the last four days I am not able get it done

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm on ATT network. Got home and placed cell on holder and popup with new update appeared. Said it would take the usual hour so I began doing some work while it upgraded. 2hours passed and the bar froze on the main checkup screen 90% of the way yet the phone came on and went through the general functions it always does. couldn't wait another hour---removed cell and began to attempt to get setting back to normal. Everything works except BB Protect. Keeps saying service temp unavailable. Did anyone else have this problem today? Is it really a temp service update or am I gonna have to wipe this thing (again).

View 3 Replies View RelatedI downloaded an application from blackberry app world today on 29/01/2012 and after the installation the phone rebooted on its own and keeps rebooting and won't let the phone start up and this is causing alot of problems for me as i need to use my phone.I trust the appworld and all the apps as its licensed and registered and thats why i trust all apps, Please can Rim or Blackberry help me with my problem PleaseIf this problem isnt resolved i will resort to buy a new phone maybe an android or iPhone (eventhough Blackberry is my favorite)

Said yes, download seemed to work but no icon or means of accessing it - either before or after the latest download. When the phone was new I may have deleted the icon I suppose ... I've tried Show all. I want to use it now so need to find out where to access it from pdq.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the app called Picmix from app world and decided I didn't like it, so I deleted the app after I done the reboot like it says to do after deletion of any app. I went into my media and then my pictures folder and all my pictures have gone from the camera folder and the folders I've created in there with my dogs. As I've deleted apps before and never had this happen, its the pics of my dogs I'm most upset about. Can I get them back in anyway or is that it? Also when I do reboot I have a pop saying "the media inserted have errors do you wish to repair the media card".

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my first Blackberry today, and at the vendor, my gmail account was set on the phone. Now my gmail goes ONLY to my Blackberry and not to the gmail account on a computer (desktop and laptop). I really wanted the gmail on the BB as back-up, not primary. I find this situation to be in effect because my BB shows emails in my gmail account that are NOT showing up when I log in to my gmail. Gmail on my computer doesn't "cost" me anything. It does on my BB (until I learn what I am doing with the BB, I got the minimal data rate with AT&T), so I really don't want to have to read all my email on my Torch. I don't mind its being there; I just want it on my computer also.
1. How do I re-set the BB or my gmail so that gmail will go to both places?
2. Or, alternatively, how to do un-install gmail on the BB so my gmail will show up on my desktop/laptop computer?
I have been trying to add my gmail to my blackberry device all to no avail. Each time I enter my email and password, I received this error message "update failed". I was able to add my Yahoo Mail and is working fine. The problem is that, whether I enter the correct or wrong password, what I get is "update failed".
Under the instant mail account, yahoo logo display well, windows live and other email service providers also display well, but Gmail logo is not displaying the logo. Am using 2-steps verification for my Gmail and I have generated application specific password, but still having the same problem.
I have my work email (gmail) on my blackberry Torch 9810. I wish that after office hours I sign out from this email but I cannot find a way to sign out from the gmail.

Actually I have 2 gmail account setup. In the settings I have account A set to synchronize contacts, calender, and deleted items. Account B is set to only synchronize deleted items. I have added a new contact to my BB. I've ensured it's contact list: points to account. I do NOT see this contact when I login to my gmail on my personal computer. I added it several days ago. My email is working great so authentication should not be a problem.

I am new to Blackberry, the proud owner of a Torch 9810. I love a lot of things about it except e-mail handling.I am having to manually delete mails already deleted from my laptop. My Torch is not reconciling my Gmail automatically; in fact, when I go to the BB menu in e-mail to manually reconcile by selecting that command, it still doesn't work.The above wouldn't bother me quite so badly if I didn't have to delete them (again) one at a time. I'm sure there must be a way to select multiple e-mails from my Inbox to delete en masse, but I haven't hit upon it yet.

The company I work for does not have a BES server. though other people have successfully added their outlook accounts.Some said this maybe a restriction on the sim card. should I ring.The phone was not bought on contract. Well I setup three email accounts, one of which is gmail (my main one). It is the only one of the three that did not create an icon when I confirmed it was setup. It only shows up messages in the main messaging icon for all email accounts.I have hard restarted the phone, I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the emails again, nothing changes.

I have recently bought a BB Torch and have successfully set up my Gmail account as personal email. The problem is, all inbound mails (except spams) to my Gmail account causes unread message indicator to be on, even though I have filters in my Gmail account that automatically archieve some of the mails. Is there a way to only receive the mails that got past the filters in Gmail to be considered unread messages?

When I got to the calendar options I can only see the default one as my gmail and have no options to change it. My device had been synched with this account until this morning when I did a restore from a date prior to having set up the gmail account. I added the gmail account back to the Torch after the restore, and the mail is functioning fine. But the contacts and calendar are not synching between the Torch and the gmail account.

I understand that I'm going to lose some functionality, but can't seem to get anyone at ATT tech support to tell me if the Enhanced Gmail plugin is part of the device's software or not.
I've set up my Google Apps mail account in both the BB mail client and in the downloaded Gmail client. I get more functionality in the Gmail client, with the ability to download labels. But what I am looking for is to find out if the Enhanced Gmail Plugin will allow me to 'move' an inbox message to a label and that it will automatically remove it from the inbox? This is the only way to come home from a 9810-only equipped business trip and not find hundreds of old, already dealt with messages on your gmail account.
I just added back my gmail mail account on the Torch. I am pretty sure that I used to have "archive" as an option in the menu, and also when I archived on the dektop, the mail would disappear in the gmail mail list, now it does not.I added the mail account through setup following the gmail account option. The only difference from before is that I no longer sync contacts/calendar.what I can do to make Archive work again?
