It's probably not just a Bold issue, but is there anyway I can stop getting the 'App of the Day' sat there awaiting me every morning, meaning that I can't use the phone for a minute or so. I also keep getting a 'featured app' email that won't let me open the link and comes a number of times each day.

well my blackberry bold 9000 has the nuked berry problem, i think. so i follow the 101 guide and it works succesfully, to a point, and then fails. when the loader begins to load "modules", the blackberry resets, and my whole process is messed up. any suggestions?

I updated my software to the .680 now i have two arrows that keep going like crazy in the upper left corner of the phone. is this normal?? I am still in my 30 days so I could take it back for an exchange. Also, any recommendations for twitter? I was using seesmic and happy but since the update it just wont let me log in.

Once i got them all updated and the phone restarted, the download action icon started running and hasn't stopped for nearly an hour, unless i turn off the wifi manually. it went off briefly, about 3 minutes, when i synced my playbook with my bold under the blackberry bridge app on my phone. i've tried going to the home screen where it tells which applications are running and it's just the usual ones, home, bbm, internet, phone and messages. i have tried turning off the phone several times, but still the problem persists.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm on Tmobile's network and since I've had this bold which I bought the 1st week it was released has been dropping almost 3-4 calls a day. I've talked to tmobile's reps over 10 times now and we have reloaded all my software and am ready to give up on BB. This is my first BB, switched from iphone and I had never dropped 1 call on that phone.
Tmobile is suggesting that I trade in my phone, but the problem is I'm sure they will send me a refurb which I definitely do not want since I paid full price $485 for a new phone.
I like having my texts and emails coming through in my message box but when I have a load of IM messages coming through from yahoo and msn just because I've not got the app open at the time (but still signed in) is a little annoying

View 8 Replies View RelatedSo I recieve my sms via crunchsms. But I am trying to use the notification on buzzme, so i can get a custom led color instead of the default red. (If someone could tell me how to change the notification sound on buzzme it would be great also :]) However I used to have .593 and when I upgraded to .656, the led wont stop flashing untill I read my text FIRST, and then open my email inbox, although I have no new emails it will stop flashing. Sorry if this is kind of confusing I'm not sure how to word it.

Ever since upgrading to the latest software 7.1.0 Bundle 1149, my Bold 9900 is consonantly rebooting. Usually after a phone call, it decides to reboot. So annoying. Its also extremely slow and the battery life is awful. Its only about 6 months old and constant problems.

I seriously love this phone but i hate how much trouble its been giving me. And when it is on it either says sim card error, SOS or searching for networks randomly.

how I can stop this from happening? It's a pain to read or reply to 5 emails and then have the same 5 emails sent to my handheld. If I read them on my 9900, delete or reply to them, no duplicate is sent again.
This just started two days ago. (the day after the 1 yr warranty expired grrr. Happens on phone calls and video. You only catch about 1 word out of six. Makes phone calls impossible. No, there are no headphones connected to the device. Discovered if I do, then at least I can hear what people are saying because it stops flipping back and forth between headphone and speaker function. Remove the headphones and away it goes again. Keeps doing it for about a minute after the call ends with an audible click each time it switches to speaker mode for a fraction of a second.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my Bold 9790 and update it from 7 to 7.1 as soon as I got it.Since the beginning, I had been having random reboots over and over without any clear reason. It happens suddenly while texting, using BBM or WhatsApp and sometimes after a phone call, it even reboots when I am not using it at all (during the night when I'm asleep).

- Under "Edit Profiles", I turned off LED for every alert
- Under "Manage Connections" I turned on and off Bluetooth (I do not have Bluetooth). I also turn of and on all connections.
- I removed the battery with the Blackberry on and then removed the battery after first shutting off the Blackberry?
Got a Bold 9780 on Orange from Carphonewarehouse in February this year. In June the phone stopped reading SD cards. Was sent away via the carphonewarehouse repair center and another phone came back. This phone has now come up with the same problem. Will not read any SD card and these cards work on other Blackberry or PC etc. I have tried all the remedies out there. Reinstalled the OS. Started the phone without the Sd card etc.
