May 9, 2010Is they way that when im in a call that i can press the left phone button to activate or de-activate the speaker phone? As i need a more convinient way of activating and de activating the speaker phone rather than pressing menu then scrolling down to the actiate option.

Sep 1, 2014I am trying to deactivate my old i phone from my account. It is no longer on Find my i phone or i tunes but when my daughter tries to set up the phone it keeps asking for my apple ID. I have had to reset my password several times as it keeps not recognising my password, The phone has been unlocked and reset to factory settings but we cannot get past this problem.

Feb 8, 2010I sold my iphone because it broke. I now have a new phone that is not a AT&T phone and want to use it in place of my iphone. However it still has the data plan activated and will not let me change it on my account online.Can I change away from my data plan since I will no longer need it? It appears some people in the thread below were able to get rid of their data plan and still use their iphone. I dont want to use the iphone anymore but can I do this as well? What will i need to do this? Do I need a AT&T branded phone to register first?

When I read another post on the fourm they indicated to take the battery out for 8 hours and replace it I did and boom he ed light appeared and I tried to quickly connect to desktop manager and download 4.6 and midway through the bold went dead again no red light nothing. After multiple attempts it came on again but for only 5 min and went out. I have critical data I need to recover. Any suggestions ?

May 30, 2010Redirect me to a post that may already be up or useful. First off, I apologize if I am posting a deja vu post. Secondly, I'd like to know if anyone has a fix for my 9700, I have owned this phone for 2 months, one week in to using my bold, I lost all of my info, everything was gone. It went back to the original background pic and everything. It didn't really phase me because I had only had it for a week and had only put in a few contacts.This morning I woke up to my BB plugged into my Macbook, which is the usual site, but when I unplugged the bold 9700 from my macbook everything was gone again, I took it to the bell store and they said there was nothing they could do, and that "that shouldn't happen, did you back up your phone?" I of course haven't had the time to back up my phone and I know it would save me right now but this still should never happen, I was only charging my phone and now everything on my phone is gone. I play JR hockey and all of my hockey connections, emails and texts are in that phone, I literally have 200+ contacts that I need and can't ever get back.

My phone automatically puts the screen black when I make a call, even if the phone is on the desk or held out in space.
