Is there a way that I can either deactivate or delete Visual Voice mail. It works sporadically, and if I were to open VVM It will freeze my phone and I have to power off pull battery in order to unfreeze.
This just started happening about a week ago and is very annoying. I have to reboot to fix it but it just happens again and again. I haven't had any os updates lately and don't recall an app update that would cause this.
how to get the resident MEMO application to read your typed text back to you. I went from iPhone to android Galaxy S6 with latest android operating system. I already have the Google text to speech engine installed. I would expect that when I highlight ANY text that android would give me an option to speak it - just like the iPhone does inherently.
Galaxy S6 keeps speaking out texts. I have turned this off somehow before but it keeps coming back. How do I turn it off? I have already used settings>text to speech> no bluetooth, no accessability, no other options are turned on in any setting. How am I even turning it on, or is it doing it by itself?
I have the Galaxy s5 from Sprint and using Android version 5.0. Starting a couple of weeks ago when I use speech to text in the texting app it will transcribe everything twice. If I speak a sentence it will transcribe it then after a few seconds it transcribes it again.
I have just been getting to know windows phone UI recently with my purchase of the Icon. I have not got it running with sim on my carrier yet, but just after setting it up and exploring everything......I am missing the always there voice to text ability in the keyboard that my Moto G and Nexus 7 tablet have.
Though I do get the voice icon with a few app's keyboard....I am wondering if there is an add on for the stock keyboard for the Icon and Denim? I really miss the vastly implemented voice to text on my other android devices.
When i press to activate Voice to text on my LG keypad the mic opens but then I keep getting "Can't Open Microphone" above the mic logo . Just below that but faded out text is "Try Again" below that is the Microphone Icon and below that is the the word/logo: I am using the swifkey keyboard but it was working with this and when I use the google keyboard ...same problem...
I wanted to send a text, but didn't want to use my actual number. I read that Google Voice can do this. I downloaded the app, but can't see anywhere in the app that allow me to text, or do anything really. How to use Google Voice?
Since I do a lot of driving, I tend to tap the speakerphone button and voice my text message instead of taking my eyes off the road so I can type but here lately my phone cannot understand what I am saying or completely types out something I didn't even say! What is up with this? I do make sure I speak slow and clearly and it will still mess up!
I have an iPhone 4 (I think). It is a model MC319LL operating software version 5.1.1. Is it possible to send a text using voice control on this version of the iPhone? Does this require an app from an outside vendo? If so, what are the better apps for this purpose for someone with a deep voice? Voice recognition doesn't seem to work well for me no matter how well I enunciate. I'm guessing my deep voice is the downfall. I say "customer service please" and voice recognition just hears "grooowl." To those with the obvious answer...I'm not yet ready to move on to an iPhone 4S. I'm hoping to hold out for the next model release before I upgrade.
There is only one Language/voice file available in my Nokia E7. I want to have a female voice and there is no download available for E7 (on download language and voide webpage).
The voice to text option is not working anymore on my iPhone 5s. When I press the microphone button and talk, it looks like it's processing but then just stops and never enters text. Siri won't answer either when I talk to it.
The pre-installed Text-to-speech language is English (UK), and when I was first testing the phone, there were two Voice options, "Ellen" and "Martin", both listed as "built-in". Today, upon trying this feature again, only "Ellen" was present. I do not believe that I have accidentally deleted "Martin". I have, however, updated the phone software using PC Suite (to 071.003). I have tried installing the downloadable voice file, but receive an "Update error" when I do. I am able successfully to install other language packages and their associated voices. This would suggest that the "Martin" built-in voice is still present. Is there a way to recover it (restoring factory settings does not solve the problem;
It's actually a very convenient and cool function, however, the messages are always jumbled up with symbols and gaps between words which makes it hard to decipher sometimes. How do I go about making sure my messages are actual 'voice' messages?
I had a Windows phone, and when a text would come through my Bluetooth, it would say Text From......then read the text, then it would give me the option to reply back (With voice text) ignore, etc. Now with my LG G4, it's synced up, but when a text comes through....it just comes up on the car display...New Message Received...then I was told to push the OK on my steering wheel, but only defaulted text replies come up....no voice text command anymore. I was told it's not the phone, but possibly need to take it in to the dealer and it may not be compatible.
Just received my Turbo and installed Textra. Using Voice to Txt, will only send an Audio File. This is the same with GOSMS and Stock Messaging App. Want to send sms only. Is there a setting I am missing?
Trying to reset back to 4.4, I factory wiped my phone. However, voice-to-text now says "automatic" and I can't switch it off, forcing me to hold it on my keypad, just to get to the emoji's. How can I turn it off and/or set my emoji's as the default button on my keyboard? I'm using the Samsung keyboard, and I had no problems with this until I factory wiped it.
I was just wondering how can I get the Voice to text Mic on the keyboard to input words or type with out touching the screen, so far I can only use the feature via pressing the search Icon on the bottom right of the phone.
