I've bought Blackberry 9900 few weeks ago on ebay and last week stop working.There is no signal - Mobile network radio -off.In Options -> Device -> Advanced System Settings -> Sim Card -> there is just ID: (numbers)but there is no Phone Number - Unknown Number.How can I check if it's reported as stolen?

Then when you either leave the vehicle & go out of range OR turn the vehicle off, wait until the Bold 9900 shows you that the connection was terminated, restart the vehicle & the radio announces that "PAIRING FAILED". Every time you enter the vehicle you have to manually pair the radio & phone, very inconvienient.

I'm going abroad on Saturday and I'd prefer to use the sim card that came with the phone because it's pay as you go. however when i put the sim card in the phone to activate BBM i try and send a text and it says "unknown subscriber"

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a replacement Bold 9900 when my previous one developed hardware issues. I transferred the SIM card to the new phone which is now operational. I also did a backup restore which retrieved my Contacts, WiFi and other data but not pictures and files. So, I tried to connect to my old device with a USB cable; this prompts me to sign-in which does not work I think because the SIM card is not there(?)
Is it possible that I connect to my old phone as a USB device when it does not have a SIM card?
I got my BB9900 and it worked well initially,now it does not read my media card,i tranferred the media card into anotherb BB and it works perfectly,It also goes screen blank after initiating a call.This fone ids too much of an investment to FFF up so soon.

Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?

i sent my phone off for repair due to problems with the device not turning on or charging just not functioning and i recived a brand new phone yesterday as the other one was not fixable and i put my sim card in and it just says "insert sim card" when the sim card is in, ive tried several sim cards and it wont respond to any of them?

After answering the security question, my password is being sent to the wrong e-mail address created which of-course I couldn't open anyway as it is a wrong e-mail address. Did that and it says: "The phone radio is unable to connect to the network. Make sure the radio is on, or move into a better cover area". Same story when I put my UK (the orginal) SIM card in. New to the Blackberry experience. I've owned this phone for about a month. I've been happy so far, but now my wi-fi radio internal phone software will not start. I have downloaded APS on this phone, it worked for the first month, but now, nothing. Nothing I do can make that wi-fi radio start up, so I cant even scan from my home wi-fi.... Or any hotspot. I have 3G network, and set up on wi-fi preferred.
