i had updated my bold 9900 resently as the software was not complete.i had also kept a backup i found photos, video and all but i can't locate my contact information it is horrifing what do i do?

My two months new 9900 dead on me yesterday. I am told there is a short on the system board and BB will not power up. I need to get my contact information and some data in my BB back up somewhere until I receive my new phone, anyway I can do it? I tried many ways including remove battery and connect to USB, I also have my 9900 charged for more than 10 hours already. Still no power.

Though many of my contacts are still intact, others no longer show a secondary phone number I once entered, or some contacts seem to have disappeared completely.The strange thing is, when I dial one of the "lost" numbers manually, the contact's name does show up! But I can't find it in the list of contacts. It comes with call displays but whenever someone calls me and I have their number saved into my contact list their name wont show up. So I don't know who is calling me even though I have their number saved into my phone. Sometimes it shows up and sometime it doesn't (same people). I tried adding +1 or removing +1 infront of the number but that does nothing.

I got a new number of a person who was already a facebook contact (because of motoblur syncing my facebook to my contacts). But i go to the contact and select edit so i can add the phone number and the phone says "facebook contact information is not editable on this device." i really dont know what to do.
Is it possible to post personal alternate contact information on the main lock/unlock screen in case my phone is misplaced or lost? If my phone is misplaced, people have no options other than to go through the phone and figure out who the owner is. It would be great to have this feature. It would give me peace of mind knowing it's there in case it's found. Most people would try to return it to a store or its rightful owner.

The Bluetooth has worked flawlessly until this weekend when my contacts list stopped being shown on the car's Bluetooth device. I deleted the device and re paired it but I still get a message saying "unable to locate objects push server. The Bluetooth still works in the car but I can't access my phone book as shown on my device.
