Jan 6, 2012How do I turn ON the keypad click on a 9900. The Keytone box in Keyboard 'options' is checked! The 'audible roll' in trackpad sensitivity is also checked, but that dont work either.

Aug 3, 2012I have recently changed my email address and need to update this on my Bold 9900. I go in to Setup > Email Accounts and tap/click on Internet Mail Account, however it does nothing. I have previously used this feature to add/amend email details. It allows me to click on Enterprise Account, but when I click on Internet Mail Account nothing happens. Have rebooted device a couple of times and get the same problem.

Nov 7, 2012My Blackberry Bold 9900 is not turning on.Details: A battery pull has not fixed my problem.I tried using another 9900 battery, however it did not work.My battery does not work on other 9900 devices.There are no signs of moisture, nor has there been contact with water.The LED light doesn't show, nor does anything on the screen.

May 15, 2012when I pulled my 9900 out of my pocket, I saw that the letter P had fallen off of my keyboard and into my pocket. No idea how that happened, especially since my phone is in top shape. I called T-Mobile to see if my phone was under warranty (I bought it the first day it was available in California, which was on August 31st, 2011) and if there was anything that could be done. They directed me to call RIM about the issue. I called RIM this morning and was told by the representative that the warranty is at T-Mobile's discretion and that I'd basically have to hash this issue out with them. So I just got off of the phone with T-Mobile, again, and was told that the button falling off wasn't a "known issue with this device," therefore the warranty was void and my only option was to buy a new phone. This is terrible, a $600 phone and within less than a year my button falls off. The sad thing about it is, I also own the 9700 Curve and I had this same issue happen, except it took more than a year before the letter P fell off of that one.

Sep 4, 2012I'm currently using a Bold 9900 under T-Mobile. The phone repeats the letters "n" and "m" nonstop. If I leave my phone down, it would show "nmnmnmnmnmnm" after a minute. The keyboard, trackpad, and unlock buttons are also not responsive. I've tried the batter pull numerous times, and it has shown improvement once (I was able to type in my password and go into the home menu). Soon after that the problem returned. The phone just seems half dead and its reponse to my actions are random. Sometimes I'm unable to unlock my phone even after pressing the unlock button numerous times.
I did go to a beach with my phone. But there was no water or sand damage. It was in my hotel room the whole time. as the phone is completely unuseable right now. The screen works, but I am unable to press any keys to unlock/use my phone.

Nov 25, 2011I've got a BB Bold 9900 through my work phone on AT&T and the phone was working just fine all night didn't have a problem with it, I plugged it into my charger went to bed now all of a sudden I can't get the phone to turn on and the red light keeps coming on and turning back off.

May 17, 2010right after I upgraded to 3.1.3 then jb with spirit I noticed that the clicking sound when typing on the keyboard has gone way down...almost impossible to hear. Dec 13, 2012my BB Bold 9900 won't turn on. Loads to a white screen saying "AppError 200" i click to reset, then it just loads the same screen again, over and over. I've tried updating the software using the desktop manager but it says i have 0.0mb worth of space on my phone so i can;t update when i know for a fact that there is an absolute ton of space free.

First try on batter pull, the BB loading screen flashes but the loading bar only reaches 50%, and stays that way. I removed the battery two more times and nothing has changed. Mar 1, 2012Last night my battery was practically dead so I turned off my phone and charged it overnight. When i woke up this morning it would not turn on. I have a completely black screen with a red light slowly flashing.
I have done battery pull and attempted to reload the applications as per someone else's suggestiong *when i press finish at the last step and it begins to download JVM and system software and completes that and a check mark appears next to it but when it goes to the next step which is "Wait for device initilization" it doesnt complete the reconnecting to JVM part and an error pops up reading "Application Loader was unable to connect with your device. Please re-connect your device, enter the password, if required, and retry" no matter how many times i try this it doesnt work.
I am at a loss of what to do. I've had the blackberry since early november and this happened once before and the battery pull solved it.

May 10, 2012Two nights ago when I was in the middle of typing a txt message the keyboard clicks stopped sounding? I've checked the mute slider which is not on mute. Also when I press up or down on the volume controls, no bars appear to show the volume level, just the image of the bell without a line through it. I have tried a hard reset and checked all the volume settings in sounds but they are all switched to on. When I had headphones plugged in and tried txting I could hear the clicks and the lock sound. I have also cleaned the USB connector with a soft toothbrush...?? My macbook is currently with a computer engineer as he is trying to transfer data from my old laptop so cannot connect to my itunes.

Jan 25, 2010since installing .411 my Bold hasn't had a single problem, apart from one. Every now and again, I will notice it light up, the screen and keyboard both turn on. After a couple of seconds, it will dim out as it would after use.
I have a windows mobile phone and before I receive a text message, that is exactly what that does, but I receive nothing when the Bold lights up? The only fix I have is to put it into bedside mode as it doesn't seem to happen when in that state....
