Just upgraded my protect now it wont get past the licensing agreement! Have tried the uninstalling and reinstalling trick but still no joy. Any ideas how to get this to work again!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got my new Blackberry Bold 9000 and got everything migrated from my old Pearl and I have everything working good except the Blackberry Messenger. I upgraded it to 5.0.0.57 and all I get is the Blackberry Messenger License Agreement and it will not allow me to click on either button, ``I Accept``or ``Ì Do Not Accept`` .Is there something I`m missing or what.... This is very frustrating as it is my only way of communicating while I`m working.

I have had my Bold for about 18 months. I bought it new from ATT. The only trouble I have had started about a week ago. My battery will not charge fully. It started off by doing this last weekend, never charging to over 60 percent. Most of the time it hovered around 20-30% (different after every battery pull). After several battery pulls, both plugged in and unplugged, I thought it was fixed. It charged fully and worked correctly for about 5 days.
Then this weekend it does the same thing, except it never got above 20%. A lot of the time it was in the red, sometimes enough that the radio would shut off. It was charging some because working with it plugged in last night, it never completely shut down.I wiped the phone last night and installed Willyboy 9000 v4.2 .610/.662/.664/.669 hoping that it was possibly some software problem. I like the OS, but it didn't help my problem. I had 5.0.0.592 when the problem started.
I went and got a new RIM oem battery from the ATT store today. This new battery won't charge past 50%. I have once again tried numerous battery pulls today with no improvement in the charging of the battery. As before, the little lightning symbol does come on indicating that it is charging. After the wipe and reinstall, I have not installed any third party apps. The battery, neither old nor new, does not get hot.
unable to update App World or download apps due to continous loop when I accept license agreement, cannot get past the accept, just loops back with update download option and then again license agreementI have updated 7.0, and have had no luck, PC desktop software loads App World but then I am immediatelty reminded of an update, and then the loop again

I've recently purchased a used 9900 and have gotten stumped on the following problem. The previous owner's emails are still coming into the general messages inbox.
Since I've gotten the device, I've done a full security wipe (multiple times), upgraded the OS to 7.1.0.402 (1333) and have gone through the service books without any success.
I've contacted the seller, who has in turn contacted Rogers Wireless to remove BIS service from his account (he switched to iphone) however, the messages from 2 of his internet based email accounts (Gmail & Yahoo) continue to be pushed to the 9900.
I've wiped the device (on-baord and via pc), I've re-entered by BBID, I've even attempted to access Rogers BIS activation page however, when I request the password to be resent, it send a blank field in the email.
Orange sent me a new sim as I've had issues with reception dropping.so received new sim, put in my phone monday (16/4) when I was advised it will be activated.When I try to enter my logon and password to the BBID screen that comes up, nothing happens.I get a please wait message, nothing further happens.Called orange who were pretty much useless, told me to wait until 8pm last night (17/4) as my new sim should be activated with blackberry by then.I've tried removing battery & removing sim various times for various amounts of time.today I still cannot get into my phone, my BBID is def correct.Really do not want to wipe my phone and start all over.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy admittedly very old Blackberry Bold 9000 has turned itself off and won't turn on past the white loading screen. It has a constant red light on with a black screen. The red light will disappear and the screen will go white and show the black timer box thingy for a minute or so like it is about to load then the process will repeat. It's been doing this since last night. I've finally admitted its time to upgrade and have ordered a new handset but would like to boot this up even if it is only to transfer current information.

I cannot move around the window and I cannot get to and tick where it is presumably asking me to 'agree'. All I can think of doing is uninstalling Kies and reinstalling the presumably new version. I downloaded the new BB messenger software 5.0 (i am currently running the BB 4.5 OS). download, install, reboot went just fine. however, when i reopened the messenger and got the software agreement, i cannot press "i accept" or "i do not accept". so the software is just stuck there. pressing the ball or enter button seems to work everywhere else but in messenger. i have received two messages and cannot read it. any ideas on how to accept the software agreement or bypass it?

Have tried to update the software (t mobile said this might help) but message says that my administrator will not allow this.
I just got myself a bold 9780. But now after restarting it for the first time, it shows a white screen with "App Error 603" and "Reset" on it. I alreadey tried the suggestions at the Torch board. My desktop manager (6.0) can't connect with my device and I can't force it with application uploader (whatever that may be).

My phone would not charge, so I gave it in for repair and was given a brand new phone in return.However, now my phone, it just won't connect to wi-fi.The message 'failed to authenticate against network' just keeps coming up.I've deleted it from my saved networks, and tried again. Problem is that the pictures from the app are still in my phone and even if I change the wallpaper it continues to scroll through all the app's wallpaper. I have had it replaced, I've had new software put into the phone, it was working then over night I wake up and the phone isn't working, and it has done that twice. At first I thought it might be a problem with the battery so I bought a new genuine battery for Blackberry and put it in my phone but I was still having the same problem. I decided to send a tweet to @BlackberryHelp on Twitter and they advised me to do a security wipe, which I did, and still my phone kept turning itself off. I sent them another tweet and another message but they haven't replied. I'm getting a little bit, put it this way, frustrated that when i've paid for a premium smartphone at over £400 I'm having problems after owning the phone for just over 6 months. The phone is therefore still under warrenty but I thought I would just put a message on here first before I contact them to see if it is a small fix that I can do myself rather than living without my Blackberry while it's sent off to be fixed.
I am getting quite fed up now because, I get the Blackberry logo up and I have to wait for the bar to go across (see below image) which takes AGES. I'd hate to rely on the phone in an emergency! Purchase new sim in Germany but cannot verify Blackberry ID..when attempted to log in with the correct ID Error message read "Blackberry ID servise is temporary unavailable.
Further findings show that my phone not connected to Blackberry Enterprise Server.
Every other connections...i.e Wi fi and other connected.
How do i get edge back instead of GSM?i have tried all the possible ways,restarted my phone,kept battery out for 10mins and the restarted,removed my SIM and tried another but im not comming down to a soloution
