Sometimes my camera button will start the camera, sometimes it wont.Does anyone else have an erratic button?
I just cant work out why one moment it will work and the next it wont.This flipping phone will be the death of me..
Is they way that when im in a call that i can press the left phone button to activate or de-activate the speaker phone? As i need a more convinient way of activating and de activating the speaker phone rather than pressing menu then scrolling down to the actiate option.

I changed the settings so that nothing happens when I press the button but it affects it when I type and when the phone is locked my phone will be constantly lit up..

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am new to BB and am learning my way through it. Hopefully this is just a setting, but there are 3 buttons on the right side of the phone. The one near the bottom is for the camera, and there are a couple above that that the user guide says are the volume buttons. When I press the them to increase or drecrease the volume, nothing happens.
View 8 Replies View RelatedOn the left side of the phone (same side as the micro usb port), there is a small 1/8" hole or port towards the bottom - about an inch up from the bottom. Can anyone tell me what that is for?
The reason I ask is because the first case I was using had a cut-out specifically for that port. But now I just switched to a different skin which doesn't. And I didn't want to cover it up if it was important..
I just noticed a tiny hole on the lower left side of the phone? Any1 know what is it for?
View 14 Replies View RelatedThe increase (top one) volume button on the side of the phone does not work. The decrease volume button work fine. For example, I open up media player, put on an mp3, but it is too low to be able to hear so I click the volume button to increase it but it just does nothing. I have threw my Blackberry once or twice in frustration since I got it for Christmas. I imagine this might have something to do with the fault but I don't know for sure.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just went from the 8310 to the 9700 and right off noticed that I can no longer hold the talk button and pull up the address book while in the recent call list. From the home screen you can hold the talk button for a couple of seconds and it pulls up the address book but if you just tap the talk button it opens the recent call list. If you hold the talk button from there it tries calling the last number. Anyone know if I can change this to be like the 83xx?
View 14 Replies View RelatedMy buttons seemed to have stopped working properly. In order to adjust the volume using the side button, I have to shut down the phone and then restart it. It will work for a while and then stops working and I have to go thru the process again. The home button just works whenever it wants. It doesn't fix the problem when I restart the phone. I can slide my finger in a circle around the button and it still doesn't work.

I have had the Bold 9700 since like the end of May 2010. This is actually my 2nd one because the first one I got was defective (the 3/R button didn't work)..so I got a new Bold 9700 via DOA. Two days ago, I noticed that my phone would restart when i press the two volume buttons at the same time. If I press one of them, it still works perfectly. However, I use a case so sometimes I accidentally hit the two volume buttons together and my phone reboots.I'm not too sure if this problem just started to occur like recently because I never noticed if I ever hit the volume keys together at the same times before. I don't think it's a software problem but I'm running on the original Rogers OS 5.0.0.351. I never bothered to upgrade because .351 seems to work pretty well already.

View 4 Replies View RelatedGot a problem with my 5800 - just today, the touch screen has started being odd. It sometimes works perfectly but then i try and press a button on the left hand side of the screen and it chooses the one at the right-hand side. This obviously makes everything very difficult! Any ideas as to why this might be/how I could repair it? I've tried the touch screen calibration about 10 times, it sorts it out for about a minute.I can send it to Nokia to replace but I could really do without sending my phone away

There are default 3 buttons on the downside of the screen, in order,
Left side: BACK Button
in the midde: HOME Button
Right Side: MULTIPLE WINDOW Button.
My question is, how can I move the BACK button to the Right side?
How do you program the progammable side button? It currently pops up the calender when pushed.

I tried to push a little harder on the screen and it seems its under the screen. But the screens is fine when its on no issue ot whatever. But its annoying hearing those click when you push the screen a little harder.. I tried to remove the back case to be sure its not the power/volume button that I'm hearing.

Every time I try to clear something like a number when trying to call, it just shows Info menu, or turns ups the Volume, or when I give a continuous push its try to Voice calls. I can move the switch, but my phone stays in silent. However, If I plug my headphones in, Then I can hear everything like I am supposed too. Also, my up volume button does not work. This is with the headphones also. I have tried doing a soft reset, I reset all of my settings, I updated my software, I restored everything back to factory settings, and nothing has fixed it. I bought it from best buy and can send it in for service, but the last time I sent a phone in, it took them 3 months! and I really don't want to go without my phone that long.

I have no idea what's going on with my camera, when I open it, it keeps showing me a black screen and keep loading.
but my problem isn't like the others, cos it didn't show me message like, "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening camera again".
CAn someone please advise on the best OS version that still has the standby button on the top right?
