IPhone 6 :: Contacts Not Syncing To Maverick OS

Sometime after purchasing the iphone 6 I realized that my contacts are no longer syncing through either Icloud or through USB to my Mac. I cannot say that it happened immediately after purchasing the iphone or after some system update. Regardless, my new contacts entered on the iPhone just stay there. They are not in iCloud or my Mac. I've tried turning off the iCloud sync for contacts on the phone and performed a USB iTunes sync, but they simply stay on my phone.Â
When I add a contact on my Mac, it does sync to my phone. I just can't do the opposite. Using IOS 8.1.1 and OS 10.9.5Â

I see all my contacts on my mac but they are not syncing to my iphone 4 plus I have my wife's contacts now syncing to mine. I have created a separate user account for her but I still get her contacts and not all of mine.

My contacts are not syncing between my iPhon and iMac. I'm using an iPhone 4 running 5.1.1 and an iMac with Lion. iCloud syncs my calendar dates and my Notes, but isn't syncing my contacts.

I am trying to sync my contacts with Gmail and I don't seem to be able to. I do see that Pkgbackup was able somehow to sync with Gmail as if I go to my contacts in gmail I can see PkgBackup however everything I try does not work. I have set it up in itunes to sync with Gmail but nothing shows up when I log into Gmail.

I got a new iphone 4s yesterday. I also got the contacts transferred from my old phone to the new iphone at the store itself. Now I want to sync the music and photos on my macbook with this iphone, but I am worried about loosing the contacts. Will this be the case? or the contacts wont be deleted?

i had a problem with my old phone so i went to the apple store and they told me to back up my information on my computer which i did so i went to the apple store today to exchange my phone for a new one since i got my last one in february,now i connected my new iphone to my computer (iphone 4) and it says that i have no sim card, the last iphone i had didnt have one either but i was able to use it - this one won't let me go past the first few things that pop up when you get a new phone.. if i dont have a sim card how do i come about this?

I synced the first new phone, then the second. They are named differently and have different numbers. Any time a change is made to the contacts or apps of one, the same change happens to the other. Any ideas howto change thais?

I have bought an iphone 4s. Whenever, I sync with iCloud, the newly added Contacts just disappear.
Is there anyway of Adding New contacts from iphone to icloud/yahoo while syncing so that data is copied on both the iphone and icloud/yahoo.
Also, I regularly sycn data from iphone to PC. What is the method of copying data back (esp Contacts) from PC to iphone in the eventuality that the data gets erased from the iphone

Running iMAC 27 , lion 10.7.4 and iTunes 10.6.3 with an iPad 2 and iphone. I can't sync contacts anymore for some time now.Either on the iPad or iPhone. Everything is checked properly in iTunes , and , actually, everything worked properly..Calendars , Mails sync perfectly but the Synchronisation simply bypasses the Contacts. The groups in Adress Book do not show in iTunes. In iTunes, the "advanced" menu, with "replace information on this iPhone" doesnt work either? Now, all my iphone contacts are deleted, and iTunes never replaced those informations with the computer ones. I ve tried many things found here, and no improvement. I think it s a bug, and unfortunately, Apple doesn t do anything to address it.

I just created a new contact on my phone yesterday (iOS 7.1.1 / iPhone 5s). But it's not showing up in iCloud when I log into iCloud.com or when I look in the Contacts.app on my Mavericks iMac or in Contacts on my iPad.Â
I seem to have about 30 contacts in the contacts group "On My Phone" that only exist on my phone and not on iCloud. (I assumed all contacts I create on my iPhone are synced to iCloud??)Â
Why are these "stuck" on my iPhone? How do I move them to iCloud?

have an iPhone 3GS and 'upgraded' to iTunes 9.1 yesterday. My PC uses Windows XP running Outlook 2003. Ever since the download I can no longer sync my contacts or calendar. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, turned my computer off, reset the Sync history in iTunes and now restored the iPhone - still to no avail. Does anyone have any clues?

im trying to sync my phone to my new computer without losing all my contacts.
i dont care about the photos or music, ive got all the music on my computer anyway..... and the photos i can recover from the phone without syncing.... but as soon as i do the sync its going to clear all my contacts and and start fresh, as there is no history of my phone on my new computer.
ive gone from a broken pc ( its dead, so i cant get the old itunes history) , and now i have a MAC, and im worried that when i say YES to the sync its going to wipe the phone clean and sync it with a contact file that is blank.....
so is there a way i can get the contacts off my phone before i do the sync so i don't lose them..

I synced my iPhone contacts with my iMac via iCloud, which was great because I had duplicate info with variations that needed to be sorted out. But I don't want to KEEP every single contact on my computer on my phone. How can I limit the contacts that sync to the iPhone while still using iCloud? I liked being able to be selective about contact groups when syncing with iTunes, but iTunes always made my duplicate info worse rather than better!

My iphone says that it is version 7.1.2 in the settings. My computer is a Dell with Windows 8.1. I was able to get the devices to sync for music and pictures, but not the contacts. Would the contacts be saved in Outlook on my computer?Â

I have a website that is managed through Google, so my calendar and contacts and email are all through Google.
I want my iPhone 5s and Google contacts to be synced, so that when I add anything to my iPhone, it shows up in my Google contacts. Also, if I add to my Google contacts online, it shows on my iPhone. Very simple. Â
I have followed the standard instructions many times. It works, sometimes.
For example, right now there are a number of contacts on my iCloud account that are not appearing on my Google contacts. I don't know how to get everything to work together.Â

My mother in law has a iPhone 4 and has never been synced, so I decided I would update her software for her. In doing so all of the contacts were lost. I downloaded the new software for my iPhone 4S, it has stopped syncing my calendar and contacts with my home Outlook. Any new contacts or events I enter into Outlook won't show up on my phone and any new contacts or events I enter in my phone won't show up with Outlook. I use the USB port to sync every few days with my computer. Nothing has been erased, i.e. all my old events and contacts are still there, but nothing new will add. I have not changed any settings on my phone or on itunes, and I even turned off the overall calendar option and selected single calendars to try, but to no avail.
