I therefore, can send email but not receive. Where the missing data went to? (This includes the incoming mail server name) And how do I get it back??
Recenty i noticed incoming call,outgoing calls & miss call are not listed in the directory history , this came after i tried to update my phone through inetrnet but version update failed.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my BB Torch to BB Bold 9900 one month ago and have this strange problem which I did not have with my former BB.I have two accounts on my BB that is my work email and my private.My work email works just fine but my private one is acting very strange. This is what is going on:
1.I can send email from my account
2.I receive spam mail
3.But I DO NOT GET MY NORMAL WHITE LISTED MAIL
I have tried to set it up again, not worked, I have wiped the phone and then set it up again same problem.Just to be clear that I did not have this problem with the BB torch.I am receiving my mail to the web-mail and as per my provided then all is fine with my account. Then I talk to my IT dpt and they say nothing wrong with BB server.

I deleted and re-install my Hotmail email address my my iPhone. After re-installing the hotmail address using 'pop3.live.com' for Incoming and 'stmp.live.com' for 'Outgoing Mail'. I have no problem sending mail from my iPhone, however I am unable to retrieve 'Incoming Mail'. When I attempt to open my Hotmail Inbox, at the bottom it displays 'Checking for Mail' and then a panel appears displaying:Cannot Get Mail
The mail server "pop3.live.com" is not responding.Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings.I have read many of the messages pertaining to this issue, but none of the recommendations were successful.Â
My incoming email is being marked as read before I read them. It is an att.net email address.Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been experiencing some problems with my blackberry 9300, when I receive an incoming email, the blackberry does not sound but the led works, other notifications like pins and sms and call ringing, does sound in the loud profile; I had made a lot of things in order to repair this problem, I have made a hard reset to the BB, I have tried to set again the sound scheme in the selected profile, I have changed the bb to others profiles and I have also take out the battery for some minutes and I have not make possible the bb sound again when I receive a email.

Callers are given the option of tagging them as "urgent", which on my Windows phone, meant that they came in with a little red exclamation point (just as Outlook does). When im at home in Australia, my phone connects to my own phone provider and the data which is only the current news and sport headlines comes in free of charge. I have synced several artists onto my iphone 4s with ios5 and either some of the artists aren't being listed, or not all the albums that I synced for said artists are showing up when I touch the artist. I have called apple and have resynced, restored, re-everything that had to do with itunes and my phone and there has been no help. I have seen other posts of people having the same problem and it seems to be an ios5 problem.

A one hour clip can be viewed on the phone but when I connect to windows 7 via usb, it is not listed in the explorer so I cannot transfer it. The files before and after are there and there is a number missing.

Using the mail app for POP3 email, the phone won't sync on data but does sync on wifi. On data, it says that a connection is unavailable, however other apps that use the internet and data do work. It used to work, but has stopped. I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

I've read that this is usually caused by Facebook location services being turned off. After checking the Settings > Location Services menu I noticed Facebook isn't even on the list. i;m using the default mail app to access my company MS exchange mail. After the .587 update i found out that this app is syncing too much. when ever my Ray is connected to a data service (2G, 3G, WiFi) is starts to sync lot of data. when i see the data usage it consums the majority share. like 800MB for every 1000MB used. and all the data comes as backgroud data. even if i restrict background data it does not stop syncing. is there any way to restrict the data usage as it consumes all the data provided and battery just for syncing. this forces me to turn off data service when i dont use my Ray. with the previous firmware my mobile used to be 24/7 connected to data sarvice and i had 16 hrs battery back up. now it last only for 3 - 4 hrs if i dont trun off the data service.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought an unlocked storm2 free and clear - no contract (upgraded from Curve with no data plan). I have continuous wi-fi as my internet company provides me with unlimited wi-fi access wherever I go in the US so my plan is to access my e-mail thru wi-fi.
Is pop3 e-mail set up possible without BES, BIS or data plan? Is there a 3rd party e-mail apllication available for blackberry, much like for pc where you can configure a 3rd party software (i.e., ms outlook, ms express, etc.) for your e-mail.
Right now the only way I can check my e-mail is by logging into the internet via wi-fi and going to my internet provider's web site. That is a hassle though as I have to go thru several steps before I can actually check my e-mails.
When I try to call a landline number listed in my contacts it jumps to my email account. Does anyone know why it does this. It only happens with landline numbers and not mobile numbers...

Seems like my stock SMS Messaging is not an option in the 'share' lists from a few apps, namely the Gallary or QuickPIC application. I cannot attach a photo to a SMS message.
If I open the SMS app, THEN try to attach something, it opens up the gallary, but then crashes Sense and the SMS app.
Updated my env3 last night to VX920V06 as well as my fiance's and now our ringtones are listed backwards. Instead of going from A to Z they go Z to A. Not a huge deal but just annoying when you are so used to it the other way.Oh and I should add this happened after I added a ringtone using bitpim. So maybe it is a bitpim related issue not the update. Or a little of both.
