After uploading my iPhone 5 with iOS 7 to 8.1.1 my Shortcuts setting has stoped to open.
When I go to Settings -> Keyboard -> and press the Shortcuts it crashes and home screen appears. I tried to reset all the setting and restore iOS but nothing works, the problem is still here..

How can we get shortcuts to settings on the homescreen - network, sounds, brightness? 5.1 did away with them. Why? Some clever developer thinks people don't want them? Or don't use them?

I want a widget that opens the wifi network selection screen. I have tried Elixir widgets (1 and 2) and power togglea as well as looking for Settings Shortcuts in the widget selection menu from the home screen, all to to no avail. Is there something I've missed with one of these options?

I've set in google play app to put a shortcut of new apps to home screen, but it actually add them to the very left one. The same is happening when trying to create a shortcut for contact - pin to home screen and I find them all on the very left screen instead.
Double-press of home button takes me correctly to my home screen...
i installed few application in my iPhone then i started to sync my iPhone with iTunes from my laptop.everytime i did that one or more application cannot be open.it happens few time since i bought it last week.problem solved by downloading new application.the question is why is this happening? is it because of the sync or it is because of the iPhone itself.should i bring my phone to Machine so that they can take a look what is going on with my phone?

I am using iPhone 4s and 5.1.1, I dont run "jailbreaks" or ever jailbreaked my phone, its 2 days old. I did resolve some apps when all of downloaded apps can't be open like facebook when tapping miliseconds then closes, I resolved by reinstalling, but I face odd automatically closing itself the app angrybirds, while playing it just closes itself, any ideas? I havent reinstall it or anything yet, I have a clean account with precise detail as an apple id, cant think of any cause. does anyone have the same exact problem?

My phone can do everything except get on the Internet, if I try to get on the Internet it takes me to this bogus site that is clearly trying to get my information. It fronted as an email from my college and the government Fafsa...grrrr! Why are people so evil???? WWhen I receive messages sometime it shows on the front of phone but when I open the message it is blank. Other times I'm not getting text messages at all. Also sometimes my Facebook and email will open up and then just close after a second or two. I have an iPhone 4s. I have tried the turning it off and back on several times. I have also reset phone to factory settings. This has been going on for 3-4 days now.

I have 3 email accounts set up. in 'Mail' the following is displyaed:

But as soon as 'Mail' is opened it checks all the accounts. Apparently it doesn't work this way for everyone: it seems a little pointless to have separate inboxes and then ignore them and default to downloading them all every time anyway. The accounts are all sey to "manual" under "fetch new data".

Now it will not ring my Phone or my Messages or my Errands unless I have the home page open.
This is bad, because I miss my calls, messages and appointments this way.Â
I don't know if the following has anything to do with it:Â I also have a defective Home button.
It works occasionally, so I usually use the top button on the device to turn it on and a soft button to get to the home page from anywhere.

In case you didn't know, Facetime has its own URL, which means that it can be launched from the Home Page, a website, or an email.If you have access to the iPhone Configuration Utility, you can quickly build your own shortcuts (aka Web Clips) and apply them.
Hope that helps instead of going through Contacts > your contact > FaceTime or going to Phone > Recent > etc.
deleting 2 incorrect text shortcuts i created. Settings>General>Keyboard>Shortcuts. you for u and your for ur.I did them in reverse. When i open each one and delete them w/ the Keyboard & hit Save, they're still there. Now when i type "you",the incorrect shortcut "u" appears in text.

After the update this weekend, my 'desktop' shortcut to WIFI and BLUETOOTH have died. This scheme was set up through OS 5.0. Apple removed this scheme to configure this, so how do I put it back?
