Ive been trying to log in to iMessage on my Iphone 4S but its either says check connection on it ask me to re input my password but never lets me logg in i changed my password twice and i can even download app from the app store with the new password ....

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy wife is on a school trip to the US. Meanwhile, I am at home in Canada. I am texting her, but I found it odd she never replies and vice versa. So, she discovered that her iPhone (latest iOS 5 release) keeps trying to send the message as an iMessage. It is not reverting to SMS after a given time, as it should and as I have seen it do before. I have tried it now also and my wife only receives my messages when she has a wifi connection (she does not have data roaming enabled). It seems like my iPhone too continously tries to send the message as an iMessage and it does not switch to SMS after a certain timeout time. The message that the iPhone continously tries to send as an iMessage never fails, however the status does not change until the next time my wife is in wifi coverage and the message is delivered.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone connects to my home wifi network, but then when I go to open and use any app internet related, it doesn't work and says to check my connection. The sync icon in the top screen is constantly going, so I thought maybe it would have something to do with that (I am really not good with anything technology related so I don't know). I did a hard reset and nothing changed. Also, I am able to connect wirelessly on my laptop and other devices. It was honestly working one minute, not working the next. I didn't download or make any changes to anything on my phone.

When I open "Manage Connections" I see a green check mark next to Mobile Network- Verizon Wireless and Wifi so I know it's connected. If I un-check the Mobile Network and wait for it to disable then reconnect it will work fine and all my e-mails and texts from the night get pushed through. I have great service at my house so I'm not sure why my phone keeps losing the data connection at some point during the night. I am running the latest OS .886 and this is my second 8530 "certified pre-owned device" as my first 8530 died. I also did a battery pull the first day I noticed this which re-connected the data but it happened again when I woke up the next morning.Has this happened to anyone else?

i have noticed that after switching to ios 5.1 my phone has been acting funny. for example: when i am messaging other iphone users with iMessage, it keeps switching from iMessage to regular text every 2 or 3 messages. at first i thought it was the other person since i am normally within my works wifi network and at my home wifi network, but it seems that this problem only occurs to other people when imessaging with me and not with anyone else. and this problem occurs to me while imessaging everyone, so i have come to the conclusion that the problem must be my phone. i have noticed this problem to occur since updating to ios 5.1. has anyone else experienced this problem? what can i do? i am 2 steps shy of reinstalling my phone.

Does this mean that it is actually just jailbroken?As I understand - blackra1n is used to jailbreak iphones but not to unlock them, so is it possible that the phone is factory unlocked and jailbroken with blackra1n at the same time?
