My son swears that he takes movies horizontally. Yet when I view them they are vertical. He sends me a link via email or puts the movie into Dropbox.
HOw ow can this be fixed? Is there a setting for it? The phone is a 4s With iOS 7.

I rented a movie on Friday last week. I just tried to watch it and it's not showing up in my purchased. I saw the movie download and now it's not there. I went to search the movie and it just has the trailer and doesn't have the buy or rent button.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia Lumia 710 since April 2012. But, from today (9 September, 2012), it's camera stopped working properly. I clicked a pic and then put it in my pocket. I took it out five minutes later to take another one, and since then it's been showing a vertical line. I thought I busted the cover-glass. But it was spotless. So I did a reboot. That did not work. So I immediately checked some other applications that access the camera (like ShutterPro and Handyscan). They too showed the line. Then I reopened the camera app and I zoomed in and even the line got magnified. So I took a sample picture, and viewed it on my laptop. It is a pattern of dots. I enclose the photo with this.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI rented my first movie from the android market today. I downloaded it to view offline. (I haven't had a chance to play the movie yet.) Have to charge up my phone. I was wondering were the file is stored. Neither the internal memory or SD card appear to have used up any space after the download. I know it downloaded, because my data counter widget indicates over 1.5 GB downloaded by the video app to view the movie. (I bought an extra SD card for the purpose of downloading movies so to not take up space.)

I did absolutely nothing in order to have these appear. I tried to restart my phone but it only made it worse. My phone will no longer rotate when I turn it from vertical to horizontal. My keyboard stays vertical when I want it horizontal. Also, near the battery % there now shows a lock symbol where it never did before. Obviously, I somehow changed this setting.

View 2 Replies View Relatedit's been happening to me a bit recently, eventually the vertical stripes go away but for now they've been coming on. if i take a photo that looks like it has vertical stripes, it doesnt come out when the photograph is taken. Anybody else? is this just a flaw with 4.0, 4.0.1 or 4.0.2 or is something hardware related?
Either way, using my phone unlocked in Austria so it will have to wait before I replace it if it's hardware. Just curious though, don't remember this happening before.
My I phone 4 has 4 purple stripes taking up the whole of the screen. This has happened before ( around 2 weeks ago ). I tried powering down and resetting. The phone had plenty of charge on each occasion that this fault appeared. When it happened previously I left it at home for a week whilst I was away on holiday and when I returned the battery had completely discharged itself. I plugged in the charger and switched the phone on and the fault disappeared so I'm hoping the same happens again.

Have updated the firmware version a few days ago. It was running on 4.X(?) and updated to 5.1.
2 days ago, que screen misunderstood some touchs, and yesterday the first row of the keyboard, when in vertical orientation, just stop working.
Had to restore, in order to access the phone, once I couldn't type the password (althogh all keys worked well on emergency call).
Now, keyboard is fully functional in horizontal orientation, but the first row doesn't work on vertical.
More information: the screen has been replaced and it has emoji installed.

I dropped my phone yesterday. I had just taken the cover off of it a day or two ago. (the cover is back on). Anyway, the phone seems to be stuck in vertical view. I can't switch to landscape/horizontal view. I have a game that you hold the phone vertically, and lean it left and right to move the character. The character now just zooms to the right, like I'm leaning the phone that way hard. I don't get it.
I have done the hard shut downs. I even installed the 4.0 software last night to see if that would resync my settings.
