My friend is downloading the new iOS 8.1.1 and it has been downloading for a couple of hours. It last stated it had 11 hours remaining. what is going on?

Today i tried to repair my xperia ray. I have 4 mbps connection. It takes more than 4 hours to download the updates. Still its running .. why? i checked the connection in speed test, it show correct speed of my connection.. What the **** is this? How to resolve this? is this will affect the phone if i install / repair my phone now in this condition?

It remains on at low brightness and will not turn off, even when the phone is not turned on. I have tried both the Restore using iTunes (original settings) and a hard reset holding the home and sleep buttons on the iPhone itself.

hey i have a iphone 3g but i have updated the software in to 5.0.1. from few days the phone have 50-60% charge remains but studdenly the phone become switches off by it self...when i give charge to it..it showing no charge remaining and after few min it again back to 50-60% .

My battery meter reads anywhere from 10-20% remaining. What is happening? How can I prolong the battery life? I am also noticing that my key pad is delayed and will be up to 10 characters behind before they catch up. It there something that I can do without restoring the entire phone that will fix some of these problems?

It only dies when there's 10 % remaining. My question is how is that even possible, when after a full charge to 100%, my estimated usage time remaining is only 10 hours?? For instance, one day I noticed my battery icon was really low so I went to check the % and it said it was -4%. I was even able to make a 10 minute call and it never died on me. A few days ago I had about 70% but when I checked the phone a few minutes later it was around 10%. A few times I've even had it die on me and it never gives me the critical battery warning.This morning it was dead when I woke up so I brought my charger to work. After charging only 30 minutes it said I had 57% battery. But now 4 hours later I'm sitting at 98% and it looks like it won't go past that. Is something wrong with my battery or could the battery life indicator just be way off?

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe last few weeks my droid turbo has been acting up. The first time it shut down it showed 28% battery remaining, second time 33%, then again yesterday it shut down showing 73% then again showing 78%. Today it shut down again showing 78%.
I plug it in for ten minutes after each shutdown and it will work again and show that the batter level went up while charging.

On my old phone, deleting items from my in box removed them from the server, but that's not happening now (using the default Mail APP). I noticed it was sending them to the trash and so I went into the trash folder, selected all the email and then tapped the "Delete" button. Nope. I have been using my iPhone 4S for a few months and was working perfectly until two days ago I have been noticing battery charge issues. I use my iPhone for calls and emails - I am not a huge user and don't have too many apps on it. THis is the second day in a row when I have been charging my battery twice at night and in the morning when I wake up. I expect the battery will run out today as well before 6 p.m.
