My iMessage has stopped working on my iPhone 5s, but only with ONE person. I have reset it multiple times, i reset the network, and I reset all the setting on the phone. I'm quite confused and need to know what's going on.   Â

It is partially working - it sends messages from my "appleid" which is my college e-mail address that I no longer have access to, and many people I communicate with do not have. How can I get it to send/recieve iMessages using my phone number again? Â
When I go into Messages, and iMessage, and type in my id, it says "waiting for activation". In the meantime, I can still send/recieve messages using my email, but not my phone number. I have tried rebooting my phone, resetting network settings, resetting all settings, and nothing seems to work. I am constantly connected through wifi, and I cannot figure out the issue.Â

I was showing a friend how to activate his email address in imessage and set his caller ID to his itunes email so that he could receive messages both on his iphone and ipad. And now imessage has stopped working. Orange (his carrier) is now sending us emails about our "multimedia message". Imessage was working when it was set just to his phone number.

Up until a couple of weeks ago it worked fine. now it will only send regular text messages. I have a good wifi and/or 3G connection, the receiver has an iphone, switched it on-off in the settings and I triend to reset my apple ID.

iMessaging has been fine until this last week, and now, 75% of the time any imessages don't send to my girlfriend - they don't change to delivered either - they just sit there, in blue, but not sent or delivered.
We have both restored our phones and backed up from icloud - this didnt fix anything.
We both changed our imessage "recieved at" email addresses yesterday - to make our tests weren't sending from the old attached email account, I'd send a message to her, then get her to reply and vice versa - basically to make sure it was the newly setup email (as I believe there's a propogation period when adding a new email to imessage?) - either way, this didn't work.
I've tested via my ipad2 - shockingly enough, this didn't work.

We have no problem iMessaging anyone else with an iPhone however to each other it does not work. On her phone the bubbles are still green despite the fact that we both have wifi on and iMessage on yet on mine it will be blue and say delivered but she doesnt recieve anything? However what I have noticed is that on her phone she has no other options such as the 'Send Read Receipts', 'Sent as SMS' or the 'Receive at' which from what ive tested with on my other iPhone friends do have so at first i thought that would be the problem but it can't be because like I said she has no difficulty messaging anyone else with an iPhone. (Same with FaceTime which i figured wouldnt work because they work the same way..I think?) I've tried everything and somehow it still doesnt work?

I've been using my iPhone problem free for a while now. Except recently, iMessage will not send messages in iMessage form to one person.
It had worked before and now it doesnt. After a while it just sends as a text message.

The internet/LTE on my iphone has stopped working for everything besides phone, iMessage, Facetime (email, safari, and facebook all say they need internet access). I've reset my network, did a soft reset (home and power button). View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an 4 and an iPad. I recently moved to Germany and do not have cell service. A friend mentioned iMessage to me, and I immediately began using it. However, on my iPhone, when I try to message someone new; I can't. They have to eniciate the conversation with me. And now when I try to respond to some people I already have an iMessage with it changes from blue to green for SMS, which I obviously cannot do without service. My friend suggested turning iMessage off and then back on. Now it says waiting for activation. Why? My ipad works fine.

I've got an iPhone 4, and my iMessages are not working properly.
I've got a Belgian (Mobile vikings) subscription for my mobile internet. Since I've got this, i've been trying to receive my iMessages through my number. This does NOT work. I've tried to reset my text system of my provider, doesn't fix anything. I've resetted my iPhone, no result. And so on...
The weirdest thing is, I've installed my AppleID to receive the messages, and that works! So i can receive on my AppleID, but not my number...
When I try to reconnect, it keeps 'controlling'/'checking' for 15min and that he says it has failed...

I just decided to try iMessage today, after turning it on, entering my apple id, all set to go, but no, it doesnt work I can go into the create imessage where its blue not green and i type out the message. Then send. It says sending before failing when the bar reaches the end. The reciever does not recieve the message.(also dont u think it would be great having facetime on 3gs, and how do u create a personal hotspot on a 3gs?)
