Over the past two weeks, photos I've taken aren't backing up to Google.I have Lollipop, and photos have backed up since it was installed, but I reset my phone after Christmas and since then they aren't backing up.
I've looked at the settings and as far as I can see they are correct (auto backup on, over WiFi and mobile, etc.), but they don't appear. The photos show up in the Google photo app, but not on any other device. I can manually upload them to Google Photos. Photos on other devices will auto upload. I have 12GB of data allowance left.
I had to reformat my memory card to try and fix some problems. When doing this I copied my camera photos to the internal storage, wiped the card, then copied back. I want the canera to now continue adding photos to the same album as the original photos but it won't and has created a new album.

I downloaded the IOS5 software in the middle of October when the upgrade came out. I backed up everything then. When the new 5.0.1 upgrade came out and I downloaded it last week, I got everything back except for my photos that I took from the middle of October to when I downloaded 5.0.1 last week. how to get the photos lost during this time back? at first i restored my phone as new, then i restore again from backup, but the photos won't sync to my phone.everything else was back; contacts, mail, note, sms, wallpaper but no photos and apps. for those apps it's ok i can download them back but how can i get my photos back?i check my backup files, the photos are there but it won't sync to my phone, there are over 2600+ pics, if there is any better way than that i have to rename every sigle files one by one.there is a weird thing, on my backup files the time last modified and the time shown on itune when u choose which backup file u want to restore from, are not the same, there are slighly different, althoght the lates one are the same but the result still the same no photo; even in every file there are photos in it.

I turned my phone off and when i tried to turn it back on the apple logo came on. Then I kept trying and finally it told me to connect to itunes, and then itunes told me i need to restore my phone to use it with itunes. Will i lose all my photos and videos if i restore it? I lost my iphone 4s about 2 months ago. I went out and bought a new one but kept putting off syncing it with my computer. Today I finally connected it to my mac computer and it gave me the option to restore this new iphone to the one I had lost a few months ago. I didn't know much about the process so I restored it. But since I had waiting so long to sync this phone I had over 100 photos and many new contacts. The restore did gave my new iphone the same background and I've noticed some of the setting I used to have are back as well as all the old photos I had on my old phone. But it deleted all the photos I had taken on my phone over the two months between buying it and now finally syncing it and it also doesn't have any of the contacts I added between now and then. Is there any way to get those back?

For reasons which are now irrelevant, I had lost some photos through attempting to sync with iTunes. (I clicked off the process before it had completed-hence why I only lost a few) In order to get these back, I tried a 'restore from backup'- unbeknownst to me, this back up was from a few months ago. I have now lost 300+ photos (among other, less important things). I am on Windows 7 and have found the backup files in windows explorer as suggested in numerous forums but have no idea what to do with them now...I understand that these photos may simply be lost. But at the moment I'm refusing to believe that they have been deleted from the face of the earth as NOWHERE along the line did I press 'delete' or any other such commands.

I used to back up my iPhone 5 regularly. I backed up manually with iTunes several times a week, and automatically to iCloud. For some time now, my iPhone will not back up to iTunes or iCloud. Backup to iTunes died first, then backup to Cloud. When I try to back up manually, I get an error message saying "iTunes could not back up the iPhone '[my phone]" because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone. Delete backup for this iPhone, then try again."Â
However, iTunes shows no backups for this phone. Under "Latest Backup" iTunes also says "Your iPhone has never been backed up to iCloud.Â
At the Apple Store they tried a few things and now say all I can do is a full system reset. Without a backup, I will not be able to restore anything.Â
All I need to restore are the photos. I can access them on my PC when I plug in the iPhone, and I have copied the photos to my PC.Â
If I do a full reset, how can I get the photos back onto the iPhone from the PC?

I received a replacement phone from Apple and have been trying to restore everything that was in the previous phone. I did the routine manual backup to iTunes (not iCloud) from my old phone before I gave it up to Apple and then restored that backup to the new phone but the photos don't seem to be appearing.
Keep in mind these are photos I only shot on my phone, I never imported them into iPhoto and I last remember having Photo Stream turned off. I thought doing the routine backup in iTunes automatically backs up everythingon the phone including photos. My phone is running iOS 7.1.1. I really hope they're not gone forever. Is there somewhere in my machine (mid-2012 MBP, OS X Mavericks) where they're hidden?
I mistakenly selected restore backup on my computer with my iphone 5S plugged in and little did i know it was going to delete all of my photos and contacts that I had from the past year and send me back to my last backup which was when ios 7 came out (LAST YEAR!!) I really need these photos and contacts back, so I did some research about recovering deleted files on my phone and turns out applications like these exist. I just don't know which ones to get. Most of them range from $50 to $100 so i really don't want to have to buy two of them. Some of them are called PhoneRescue, MobiSaver, Wondershare Dr. Fone...etc and i tried all of their 'free trials' and none of them worked.
