Sep 8, 2011When trying to update the X7 phone software I get the (not so clear) error message "Something went wrong" followed by "Error code: 12070. I use OVI 3.1.1.90.

Jul 26, 2011I am updating my 5230 from software v.40.0.003 to v.50.0.001, via Ovi suite (latest version 3.1.1.78).My XP SP3 Computer tells me to restart to finish the update time after time, without the phone update being successful (I remain with older phone software version 40.0.003).After a while computer gives Nokia error code 17011and recommends to reinstall Ovi Suite.I have already installed newest OVI suite, and have also tried with the Nokia Software updater.No success however.

The update page states that the "Update not available," with it currently saying that version 12070 "will not be launched for this product code and/or country."
I was expecting to get this update like everyone else, this is a big update and every owner of a Lumia 800 should get it. I'm very dissapointed by this.
Why don't we get the update? wIll we get it? and when?
Xseries :: X3 Security Code After Update?
May 31, 2011ive just updated my nokia x3 but when i updated it ovi suite restored my phone using an old backup file. this backup file held a diffrent security code which ive forgotten. ive spoke to nokia and the care point in sailsbury. the repair point says i shouldnt be charged for the repair. im awaing a responce from nokia, about them charging me if i use the repair option on the website. I dont feel i should pay as ive followed the instructions that ovi suite gave me. i think the repair should be free. i was really shocked after the update and then my phone asked me 4 the code. i thought that the nokia software updates were fully tested before realsed to be installed into customers phones. i cant belive it

Jun 17, 2012I have an iPhone from Verizon which will not update to 5.1.1. The software update is listed in Settings > General > Software Update on the phone. When I click "Install Now", I accept the license agreement, the phone 'verifies' the update and then I get a dialog box with "Unable to install Update. An error occurred installing IOS 5.1.1" And that's it - no dice. My phone is *not* jailbroken and my network connection works fine.

Nov 1, 2010I am trying to flash my C702 using the Update Service, however the update fails during the "Downloading" part, before the actual flashing begins. I have investigated this using wireshark and have discovered that the update program encounters a 404 file not found error. My internet connection is definitely working. Presumably the 404 error is why the update process fails. Is there any workaround I can use, or any chance that someone at Sony Ericsson could look into this matter?

Tried to get it into recovery mode to install IOS 4.2.3 (I think, anyway - doesn't show the version number now?) with iTunes 10.5.3.3 Went through the update process but then dropped out with error code 1015. From googling it seems that this is when a phone has been jailbroken... My friend bought this off someone a while ago and says the person who had it before did this with Cydia... and has only really used it as an ipod themselves so hasn't noticed anything. The phone still sits at the black apple logo screen.

Apr 27, 2010i know that one of the solutions for installing the MTP driver is to change your usb connection to Mass Storage and delete a folder in the private folder but i can't find it in the private folder! plenty of other folders with lots of digits but no 10208913 folder.
I have just given up and started using WMP in mass storage but it means i can't transfer actual playlists, the songs are transfered but i have to make a playlist manually on my phone which can get real tedious.

But when I enter the master code it says "code error" too. I tried to hardware reset , but when i hold 3,* & green buttons and turn it on, phone asks me "continue using the phone in offline mode? " (it asks since when i tried to enter deference codes for several times), and i should to answer this and press other keys instead of these 3 buttons, so it didn't work too, I opened it key pad and clean again,but it couldn't help.

I did a hard reset after removing battery for 10 minutes, and the phone was runing for some time - the lock code remained unkown but it booted, before it wanted the lock code to boot off, but after this my stupid head decided to update the phone - causing it to restart, and even worst now it not only again ask for the unknown lock code at boot, it also can't hard reset by the Green key,Red key, camera button switch on method + 10 minutes w/o battery.
