So I call a friend and I can't hear the ringing,I can't hear him answering it (you know,the beep) and then I can't hear him on the phone,only when I use handsfree I can hear him.I called almost all my contacts and the same problem with all,only the handsfree works.

I've been the happy owner of an LG vx8700 for two and a half years now, and I've never had any complaints. This phone has never caused me a single problem...until recently. When I make phone calls, I am unable to hear anything, even a ringing. Sometimes I can finally hear people after about 20 seconds, sometimes I can't hear anything at all. This also happens sometimes when other people call me. Is there any way for me to fix this problem, or is it finally time for me to consider buying a new phone?

I can not hear it ringing when someone call, but if I see someone calling and I answer the call they can hear me and I can hear them fine. I also can't not put the caller on speaker at all , I also can't hear my music or gaming apps. When I turn my phone on or off it does not make a sound as well. I have turned the phone off and turned it off by pressing the top button and home button at the same time and that did not work. I checked the volume and the mute button and the volume is up all the way.

This does not happen every time, but it does happen at least once a day.On incoming calls, my ring tone will not play, instead I hear the person on the other end of the phone waiting for me to answer!! They can not hear me though, but I can hear them either saying hey pick up the phone, coughing, drinking water, what ever you do on the phone before the person answers.
So Verizon has never heard of this before and I can't force a duplication of it when people are watching of course.Anyone heard of this and know what to do? I was hoping upgrading to 5.0 OS would fix and I am looking for that now.
My NX6 only rings for a short time and usually stops before I get to answer it.. Is it possible to extend the time before it stops ringing?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have nokia 5800 with latest firm ware v40, when i do call to somebody, i can hear the sound, but on the another side, cant hear me speak, he/she said my voice so slowly. i think in the first time is network problem, but change mobile phone, its okay.... so i think the problem is my nokia 5800, when i test with recorder application, i found that its very slowly, i try with the same voice and same volume with another phone, its good, so i think i have problem with my nokia 5800, especially with microphone. can somebody help me what to do? should replace firmware ? or this is hardware damage?

I have purchased a new cell Nokia 5030 Xpress. When the call come then ring volume is not good because we can't listen the rigtone properly and I have shows that mobile on Nokia care center but they are not able to correct that.

Ringing volume as high. when ever i receive a call, for first 5 - 7 seconds, my rining volume is very low.So many times i missed few calls to pick. after 10 seocnds, the volume become normal.

There is another mp4 file (freeheart.mp4) which I cannot find anywhere else except in the profile personalisation. Cannot be found in the file manager too.

I updated my N8 software to the latest available upgrade last week (30Jun12). Ever since, the phone has been ringing once, at all different times, for no reason. It isn't a call or message, and leaves no clue as to why it ran.At night I have to set it to SILENT profile, so it won't wake me up through out the night. Then forget to put it back to GENERAL profile, the next morning and miss all my calls / messages.

So, my main PROMLEM is very strange:
Last evening I used the phone for probably 30 min. conversation, than I set the alarm clock in order to wake up this morning and go to work. But I overslept and a thought that I did not hear the phone alarm.
My surprise was huge when I tried to switch on the phone, I entered the PIN code of the card and there was the alarm active whit the usual two options - snooze or switch it of. No matter what I choose the phone is blocking and I can't use it at all. The only way to do something is to remove the battery, so I've done it this morning for at least 20 times and the result is the same every time - the phone is blocked and I can't do anything to use the phone.
In the same time when I dial my number from other phone I'm hearing the "free" signal, but the N85 is not ringing at all.
I am using the Nokia 2730 Classic G3 phone. When some one calls me at my phone, my phone will ring according to the setting of ringtone. While my phone is ringint, the caller will hear a specific ring sound for this phone. What determines this caller ringing sound? Can I change this caller ringing sound?

I see that call someone is calling but no sound comes out of phone (I can answer call and all is OK). I tried to change profiles General/Meeting but anyway after change I make test call and still no sound. Only thing that help is switch off and back on.

I have set a standard ringtone via Profiles / General / Ringing Tone. The phone will not use this ringtone , so I went to Settings / General /Personalisation / Tones / ringing tone and if I make this tone same as Profiles then all my calls go to Voicemail. What am I doing wrong ?
