Recently bought a X3-02 with firmware version 5.65. All of a sudden I cannot hear anything on the handset during the call.Loudspeaker and headset works fine.The headset icon also does not appear on the phone. Tried resetting to factory settings as well but did not work.
View 8 RepliesRecently I have been getting a problem with my 9700 Blackberry. When I make or receive calls, I can not hear anything out of my handset. The person on the other line can hear fine (Usually with me going Hello Hello a million times!) The only time I can hear anything is when I have my bluetooth on or switching it to speakerphone.
I tried doing the soft reset (battery pull when the phone was still on) ...still nothing. Although it did work a couple of times. Its on and off, but recently the situation has gone from bad to worse.Anyone out there with the 9700 with the same issue? It's really annoying and I do use the phone a lot for important calls.
I do not hear a dial tone and not hear the voice of the person I'm talking about.

I had tried all the following and nothing works:
- make sure Bluetooth is turned off
- removed battery and put back after 1 ~5 mins
- Do backup, update the latest software and restore
I bought the Zylo almost two months ago and I'm already having a problem with it. First of all, I can't hear a call from the handset itself, I have to speak from the speaker. Which is very inconvenient. The Service centre was not very helpful. He said check up from so and so date to check when the spares come in.i have to wait till the store opens and then call up and check when my phone can be repaired. Second problem that cropped up today is that my menu button does not work when the slide is open. My software is up-to-date as I updates it two days ago. Also I find the battery life very weak, isn't this supposed to be a walkman phone? I am outraged to find such problems with an SE phone so early into use. This has never been manhandled, why the problem then?

Everything's fine as long as I have it on loudspeaker or have the earphones in but as soon as I press the handset button I stop being able to hear anything (although the person at the other end can still hear me). Not sure if it's something I've caused by messing about with the settings as it hasn't always been like this, or if something's broke.

I had heard that the voice quality was not so good on the prior Tour model and also found this to be true on an in-store test at Verizon. When I use my Rocketfish bluetooth headset it works fabulously, almost always gets the correct name, but when I use the handset it's almost always wrong.This has been the case since day 1 on my S2 regardless of the OS I've been on and I've tried all the officials and several hybrids. I'm now on the official 713.

I haven't dropped the phone, or done anything out of the ordinary. Checked all the settings and they are fine.
Ringtones work and other sounds on the phone work fine but I have the feeling it might be the internal speaker. =/ I have found that I can put a person on speaker phone and I can hear them but when I take it off I can't!

Sony Xperia Z3 Dual - D6633 almost a year ago, and since then I'm having an issue with the voice, whenever I receive a call, I can't hear his/her voice, it's always breaking or (noisy) and dropping down ( I can't even understand a word from the caller). The issue started about a month ago and gradually occured more often, and now it's basically happening every time I place or take a call: I can hear the person at the end of the line, but they can't hear me when I talk. Also, perhaps that's not related, whenever I plug it in my dock to listen to music, there's no sound coming out - I tested the dock with an older iPod I have lying around and it worked just fine. I first thought it was some interference issue and tested from various places, to no avail. It's basically useless as a phone.. Since it's out of warranty (it's a little over 2 years old), I wonder whether I can even get it fixed without paying about the same amount of money I would need to shell for an iPhone 4.

I have a problem with using my phone that started several weeks ago and has been steadily getting worse. When I make a call, the person on the other end answers and I can hear them but they can't hear me. This also happens occasionally when someone calls me. I can hear them but they can't hear me. I have good reception, 4 or 5 bars. I haven't accidentally hit the mute button with my cheek. I try turning the mute button on and off with no results. I have shut the phone off for a while and then started it up and there is no improvement.
Today I was probably able ot only talk to 60% of the people that I tried dialing. There is one person in particular that I have to call multiple times per day for business and this happens 95% of the time with her. I depend on being able to use the phone; I'm in the life safety business. As far as I can tell, everything else works, other apps work just fine. I can text and email, surf the net, etc. I have an iPhone 4 version 6.0.1 (software?). It doesn't seem to matter if I am on a 3G or E network. The problem persists. No, I don't want to update the iOS, the GUI is butt ugly (Steve would be turning over in his grave if he saw this iOS) and everyone that I know that has an iPhone 4 and has done the 'upgrade' has had problems with slow operation and battery suck.Â

I updated my software to version 7.1.0 Bundle 2123 awhile ago and since then callers cannot hear me but i can hear them.My carrier is Verizon and they told me they couldn't fix it either.

Send the phone for repair 3 times! Sony service center even change mother board and casing but voice quality is ok sometimes but break up most of the time. My sister's Z2 though she say got not issue but at times voice sound distance too.

I can record voice memos w/ no issues what-so-ever. I'm not sure what I can do to fix this issue. I've also tried replacing my sim card w/ a new one & that didn't work either, unless that sim card was a bad one as well.
