Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Phone Dialer Is Too Slow And Takes More Than 5 Econds To Open A Dialer
May 6, 2012Why is this happenning? I am facing lot of problems in my SE Neo V mobile. I updated my phone officially last week. The problems are serious and so irritating. The older version of android 2.3.4(Gigerbread) was gud when compared to this newer version of ICS. I am Facing these problems.
1. My phone dialer is too slow and takes more than 5 econds to open a dialer.
2. Unable to forward messages since it gets stuck in the contacts adding option itself when I use the forward option. And it must be Switched off and On to get back to home screen. Or else i cant message any 1 else.
3. Anything being copied to any folder using Computer show a message saying that The device is currently being stopped and cannot copy files.This is the most irritating part that i encounter always.
4. Any game like HD is not woking. It either crashes down or the application doesn't get opened at all.
can anyone please tell me How to fix these errors?? I am really Facing so many problems like these with the newer Version of Android ICS 4.0.3.And i read that using sony PC companion and also update service setup v could fix these bugs.. But doing this will expire the warranty of my phone??

May 8, 2015My Xperia Z3 Dual with KitKat had 2 buttons on the dialer app, one for dialing with SIM#1 and one for dialing with SIM#2. Now with the Lollipop update the dialer app no longer has this 2 buttons, and when I dial a number and then tap on the "send/dial" button it does not ask me to choose the SIM I want to use, it automatically uses SIM#2.
When I tap on a contact a pop-up window ask me to choose the SIM card, but when I dial from the T9 pad this doesn't happen, it directly uses SIM#2.

Aug 11, 2012Recently I have updated my Xperia Pro phone to ICS. After this update both phone dialer and contacts menu opens very slow. It takes 4 to 8 seconds depending on phone congestion to open it i.e. when you hit the phone icon on menu first appers a black screen and than only few minutes after you can call someone. It is a bit uncomfortable when you try call someone, especially if it is urgent, your phone's primary function doesn't work fast. And phone's physical qwerty keyboard changed to azerty.

Apr 11, 2011When I'm at the home screen of my Xperia Ray, the background won't move while scrolling, because I chose this option via the Wallpaper Wizardrii app. Now, when I open up Temple Run and close it, the background is still the same but it scrolls again. Aug 13, 2012in the last couple of weeks has randomly started 'shaking' between the 5 screens, and randomly opening shortcuts. Initially I thought I might have leaned on the screen when it was in my pocket (although I was sure it had screen-locked) and it was processing the outstanding signals, but it is now doing it when I haven't touched the screen or had anything else pressing on it. Turning it off and on again helps for a bit, but it starts again after a while. Is this something a software update would resolve (though I'm not having any success with the SUS either.

Aug 9, 2015I live in Curitiba, Paraná. I've been complaining about a Sony Xperia smartphone Z3. I purchased 15 days. The same has been exposed to splashing water (shower), which is acceptable because the equipment is designed for these situations splashes and even submersion, to its limits of course, had the same problems on the 09/08/15 03: 29 am began an endless vibration, even turning off the machine vibration remained and after endless vibration, 05:00 am it stopped and did not return to vibrate, but began another breakdown, celebrates open the camera unintentionally, the which it was in this condition when I got to this point of the complaint, (5:15 am) and so far did not return open.
I believe it is a problem in sealing the camera button, as it was for him that the problem manifested itself. I now believe that if there was water into the unit, the motherboard was damaged, so need immediate replacement device, for me the device is an essential commodity. I look forward soon return Sony's what should I do in this situation, since the device has addiction but not stopped operating (for now).

Jul 6, 2014I've had my Xperia Z2 for about a month, three days ago the camera wouldn't start. When I open the app the screen is black. It's also the same if I try to start the camera using Instagram or Snapchat. I've tried to restart the unit and cacheclan phone to see if storage was the problem. I`ve also tried to connect to the "update service" but when I hold the "volume down button" and connect the usb I get a message that the program can't find the unit. Starting to be a bit frustrated. I'ts just problem with the front/main camera, not the small one.

Jul 3, 2010The Superior Auto/Manual camera app is not loading, and becomes unresponsive. Here's a screen shot when opening the camera app:
Diagnostic reports the camera as fine, is able to take photos with flash. Other modes such as 'Background Defocus' etc are running fine, as is instagram etc. I tried switching from 'Defocus Background' to Superior Auto/Manual/4k Video etc and the app becomes unresponsive again as above.
I've cleared app data and caches for the 'Camera' and 'Cameras' in app settings. Tested in Safe Mode, and have just done a factory rest of my Z2 which has not resolved the issue.
