View 4 Repliesi have heard that sony gives a list of devices that going to upgrade to jb and knows that 2011 xperia wont get jb upgrade.but i heard some rumors that sony i continually investigating 2011 xperia with jb and will add some 2011 xperia models to the list which release in 2013.i wish sony will not make 2011 users cry with the buggy ics and upgrade to jb like other companys....if i got a jb i sure ill be an active customer or if we stay on buggy ics i will defenitly never buy sony products its sure....other brands are working hard and they suceeded to upgrade even their low end devices to jb.then why a powerful hadware cannot meet a smooth os.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to ask if there is a possibility to update our phones with jelly Bean.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated my phone with the new android jelly bean and it is running very smooth, but it installed more than 10 apps in Japanese or Chinese which are useless for those who don't know the language.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhich is really annoying because I often found that it was useful to force GSM because several of my phones (including my current HTC One) favour a weak WCDMA connection over a strong GSM, which is pointless when all I want is a phone conversation with a good line!
Really kinda loathing this update... an unwelcome change that hasn't really brought me anything good that I've noticed. Also since this update, I've been really missing being able to unlock the phone just by pressing the button (swiping the screen feels pointless on the HTC One and is slower when I want to frequently just check my location of Maps or something)...
i have samsung galaxy s2 with android 4.0.3 and i want to install Jelly Bean...

View 1 Replies View RelatedWill the next version of the Droid Bionic OS (Jelly Bean) have webtop support? I'm considering purchasing a lapdock, but I'll hold off if the next version (which is promised within the coming months) doesnt support the webtop application. I'm hoping they will atleast add in webtop 3.0 which is currently on ICS, but I'm not sure if thats compatible or doable.
View 9 Replies View RelatedHow do I upgrade from ICS to Jelly Bean on my Razr Maxx which has 4.0.4 now
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't care if its not an HD resolution display, or if some apps are not compatible because of the Intel Chip. But I can't really buy a Razr I if I will not be able to install/move apps to the SD card, I can't have only 5Gb for Apps! Specially now that some apps/games can take around 600mb-1gb of space. I know some apps need to be on the internal memory, but most not.
So my question is, will this be addressed with the Jelly Bean update? If so, I think this is the phone for me, if not I guess I'll have to keep looking for another one.
Since updating to Jelly Bean, the automatic brightness feature is downright terrible. It makes using my phone on a daily basis extremely frustrating. It is too aggressive when switching between bright / dim modes, and tends to make the brightness "flicker." I also wish the phone didn't bump the screen brightness up / down rapidly. Why can't it gently fade it?
View 5 Replies View Relatedhow to get into recovery mode on the RAZR M with Jelly Bean loaded? I would like to wipe my cache.I am able to power down the phone, hold both volume buttons, power on the phone, and choose "Recovery" from the black & white (bootloader?) menu. The phone proceeds to the screen with the Android character lying on his back with the red triangle showing. However I cannot get any menu options to appear as I could with ICS by holding down both volume buttons.Has anyone been able to get the "cache/date wipe" menu options to appear on the red triangle screen?
View 10 Replies View RelatedMy issues since Jelly Bean upgrade. the email client that came with my Maxx HD does not auto sync anymore, my AOL email does not sync at all even after i double check for the right password. I keep getting an error "The password and username you entered did not authenticate with your email provider." I never got this error prior to the Jelly Bean Update. I even changed my password for my aol account and entered the new password in the phone. where the hell did speed dials go.
View 2 Replies View RelatedYesterday I found that my Razr I can be updated to 4.1.2. I was very happy about that and updated the phone. After that I found one missed feature. Cannot move your applications to SD with Razr I. But it was the feature to move pictures and videos and some docs to SD automatically (in "settings - storage" area). So I could use this feature to move pics made by some apps and stored in to main memory automatically to SD card. Now it is not available any more. How can I perform this action with Jelly Bean? I have to do it manually now, connected phone to PC.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe jelly bean upgrade wiped out all my speed dials. I went into phone settings and there is not an option for assigning speed dials (as indicated in the manual). How to set them up.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have a Razr Maxx HD. Before I upgraded to Jelly Bean I could press and hold the power button for a second and it would bring up a menu that included "Power off", "Airplane mode", "Sleep mode" and some others. Now after upgrading from ICS to Jelly Bean there is no "Sleep mode" selection.Did something go wrong with my upgrade or has "Sleep mode" been removed? Also, I was using the live wallpaper "Grass" and that is gone as well. Did that also get removed with Jelly Bean?

View 1 Replies View Relatedbitstream unveils the second generation of the acclaimed bolt mobile browser, the most fully featured mobile browser, now featuring tabbed browsing.
press release:
marlborough, massachusetts – march 23, 2010 – 700 million pages viewed, 190 million minutes of video watched, 180 terabytes of data transferred, and over 5 million users since bolt was first introduced in february 2009, bitstream inc. (nasdaq: bits) today announced beta availability of bolt 2.0, the next generation of the bolt mobile browser, the most fully featured browser for mobile phones of all types. among the new features in the bolt 2.0 beta version is tighter integration with facebook – by far the most popular domain visited by bolt users around the world – including the ability to use facebook’s instant messaging service and to seamlessly copy text or links and post them to a facebook account directly from within the bolt browser. the most important new feature of bolt 2.0 is the addition of tabbed browsing, letting people simultaneously browse multiple websites and easily switch between them.
each new version of bolt becomes more exciting to announce, said anna magliocco-chagnon, president and ceo of bitstream. we are closely listening to our end-users through our user forum, our twitter and facebook pages, and their comments on blog posts and articles, and they are guiding our development roadmap in important ways. it is this close relationship we are building with our users to which we attribute our stunning growth. bolt added 1 million new users in the last five weeks alone. like its predecessor, bolt 2.0 is engineered to run on mobile phones of all types, from low-end feature phones to high-end smartphones. bolt is the only major webkit-based cloud computing browser and is built to deliver a pc-like browsing experience on mobile phones. the second generation of bolt maintains all the features of the first generation bolt browser, including many that no other mobile browser offers:
perfect rendering of web pages on any class of phone, scoring 100 percent on the web standard’s project acid3 test. streaming video from many of the world’s most popular video sharing websites, including Internet, myspace, blip.tv and metacafe, as well as websites that stream videos such as cnn, espn and any website with embedded Internet videos. super fast download speeds. copy and pasting text. built-in integration with twitter and facebook. password manager. download/upload manager. ability to run web-based applications written in ajax, javascript and other web programming languages, ranging from google docs to mafia wars. the inclusion of widgets, standalone mobile applications that are run directly from the browser, such as a weather app, calendar app, calculator, twitter client and others. these widgets let people using any phone take part in the mobile apps revolution.
best of breed over-the-air data compression, resulting in faster load times and decreased data usage. patented split screen viewing to make surfing complicated web pages simple, and viewing content on the smallest of screens easy. additional notable upgrades in bolt 2.0 include a faster widget gallery with updated user interface and a server upgrade to webkit 4.03. bitstream has made bolt extremely easy to use, with keyboard shortcuts to quickly navigate pages and scale up and down through the browser’s six levels of magnification. comprehensive instructions on how to use all of bolt’s many features can be found at http://boltbrowser.com/faq.html. bolt is free to download and works on any mobile java (j2me) phone (approximately 75 percent of the estimated 4 billion phones in use today). handset manufacturers and wireless operators looking to preload bolt on their mobile phones can license a custom version of bolt built for any operating system or platform.
recognizing that some mobile phones currently in use cannot support the full size applications and some network providers limit the size of application downloads, bitstream also offers a light version of the bolt mobile browser, bolt litetm. bolt lite contains all the essential features of the bolt mobile browser, retaining bolt’s feature-rich functionality, best-of-breed download speeds and desktop pc-style page layout in a smaller package optimized for entry-level devices. the bolt 2.0 beta can be downloaded for free at:
http://boltbrowser.com/beta/download.html. people can still download bolt 1.7 and bolt lite for free at http://boltbrowser.com.n)
